The non-view room was comfortable but could have done with some extras, such as more space, hangers.

The room was clean, staff friendly, i didn’t have breakfast in hotel. Air conditioning was on non stop, cooled room & noisy which was a bit annoying. Unnecessary in the winter.

Point A hotels are good and i stay with them regularly. This was my first time at the Birmingham one! This one feels a bit tired compared to the London properties. Possibly due a refresh soon. But was still a perfect base for my trip to Glasgow.

The TV kept buffering. This was for normal TV. It was disappointing.

Lovely place, the hotel has a good location, close to almost everything! Got a doubled duvet tho for me and my friend. Not necessary, but maybe they thought we were fruity. Asked for an extra duvet and without any problem there was an extra duvet waiting in the room:D

At first, I was given a room that had many marks on the walls including some kind of ''dried liquid spill'' that wouldn't come off. I went back to the receptionnist and asked for another room. I mentionned the stain and he replied ''It's been there for months and we can't clean it''! So, he gave me another room that was smaller but in better shape and with virtually no marks on the wall but one tile in the bathroom was broken. Room clean, though. Heating a bit wonky. Pleasant staff. Continental breakfast okay. On my first morning there, it's like the cutlery and dishes had not been cleaned properly: they were kind of sticky. Well-located. Great prices, but hotel needs son TLC. Would I stay there again? I don't know. It's not a total dump (I felt safe as a solo woman traveller), but don't expect a 5-star hotel for the price.

Clean room, nice staff and great breakfast. No complaints other than having to go to reception evetytime I wanted a cuppa tea... Would stay again!

Staff very welcoming and helpful on arrival. Room spotless and comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again. Good location too.

Really nice and clean hotel. Room has a safe and the minimal approach is ideal for short stays. Staff helpful and on hamd when auto check in didn't work.

Quick and easy stay, looking for something cheap and simple for sleep and breakfast . Staff were helpful and friendly. The sink was blocked with hair, which I didn’t investigate too much and would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast but other than that. Ideal 👍
