The Tower Hotel, oleh Thistle

We checked in late night, sadly they have no room for the type of room that I have paid. I paid for executive room and the manager said that they are overbooked hence, can only give me a standard room (thats the only room left for that day). Helllowww, I have prepaid all my rooms and yet the hotel gave my room to someone who paid even lesser than me. The manager said things happened and it is better next time to book direcly with the hotel, not via third party. So I told them, that is not an excuse. If you want everyone to book directly from the hotel site, just dont work with third party agencies in the beginning. Got the standard room checked in at midnight and the furniture is very old. There is pieces of instant noodles and left over vegetables near the sofa. Very bad maintenance for the standard room according to me. The hot shower did not work properly. The pressure is not high enough, hence making the water wont switch to the shower head.

Had the best view from our room and the staff were great. Difficult to find any place in London that’s 5 star cleanliness though.

Das Zimmer war etwas in die Jahre gekommen, d.h. die Möbel und Wasserhähne könnten mal eine Auffrischung vertragen. Es war aber alles sehr sauber und wir haben in den Betten gut geschlafen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick nach hinten raus auf einen kleinen Hafen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten früher einchecken und unser Gepäck am Abreisetag kostenlos beim Concierge-Service abstellen, bis wir uns auf den Weg zum Flughafen gemacht haben. Vom Hotel aus sind einige Sehenswürdigkeiten direkt fußläufig erreichbar. Die Anbindung mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Unlike other hotels that has special landmarks near them cost a fortune, the Tower Hotel surprised me by the price and how one of London’s most famous landmark is right next to it. The breakfast is exact and the stay is just amazing.

Ein etwas älteres Hotel. Leider nicht sehr sauber und alles in die Jahre gekommen. Für Allergiker nicht zu empfehlen

Perfektes Hotel, wenn man einen schönen Ausblick auf die Tower Bridge haben möchte. Das Zimmer war von der Einrichtung leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber ansonsten war alles schön. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

This hotel is all about the views! The view of the Tower Bridge and the river is amazing. Close to the metro station, buses, etc. Lots of dining and shopping options nearby. The rooms are a bit dated but great shower and very comfortable beds make up for that. We had a great time and would stay here again.

Amazing hotel, second time I stayed there. Great view of the Tower Bridge and the Thames. Easy walking around and the Tower Hill Tube was near by.

Het hotel is een aan het vernieuwen, maar ik had er weinig last van, want is tijdens de uren dat je er normaalgezien niet bent. Comfortabel bed, ruime kamer. Wel eindje wandelen naar openbaar vervoer. Vriendelijke ontvangst.

Estupendo hotel , simplemente magnífico ,volvería sin duda.

Pros - I liked the location of the Tower Hotel since the underground was close by and there were numerous restaurants nearby. Cons - the hotel elevators were slow. The buffet breakfast (though abundant)was pricey. My biggest complaint was the taxi service to Heathrow was supposed to be a priced price of £100 but when we got to the airport we were charged £150. Either the hotel was misleading us or the cabbie was not told of the fixed price. We did not want to complain to the cabbie since the meter clearly said £150 and we did not want to argue with him. If we stay at The tower Hotel next visit we will confirm this price with everyone concerned.,

Second stay in a few weeks. Great location, staff very efficient. Some rooms a little tired but acceptable

Unfortunately I couldnt give it a full 5 star rating, if it wasnt for the superb customer service, it would have gotten 2 stars. Pros: customer service, great location, super close to London Tower bridge Cons: super hot in room, the temp control didnt adjaut, when walked into the room when we first got there, the drawer of the dresser was broken, carpets dirty looking, the drain outside if tub backed up when emptying the bath water, TV kept turning off and on. Pretty much the whole room itself was a disappointment. DO NOT EAT AT THE RESTAURANT. The service sucked. Sucked even more that we had to no control of the service charge. :( But food was good at least, I guess. I really hope hotel does upgrade their rooms for a better experience. Staff was amazing on top of our requests and I really appreciated that.

The hotel was lovely. We received outstanding service from the employees. Montserrat was very welcoming and helpful with our check-in. The room was cozy and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We loved the location and how walkable it was to all the key areas and transit.
