Ini kedua kalinya aku kembali ke kerang setelah 6 tahun. Awalnya baca review-review terkini saya agak ragu karena takut kualitasnya jelek dan pelayanannya kurang baik, tapi saya tetap memutuskan untuk kembali lagi karena ruangan garden villa kerangnya sangat luas dan anak-anak saya bisa berlarian dengan nyaman. Untungnya itu adalah keputusan yang tepat, staf sangat ramah, kamar bersih dan terawat tidak kurang dari 6 tahun yang lalu, kolam renang luar biasa. Ada pula hal kecil yang perlu ditingkatkan, yaitu kualitas sarapannya, tidak terlalu mewah dan tidak terlalu lezat, tetapi dengan harga kamar yang sudah sangat terjangkau seperti sekarang, kami mungkin tidak bisa mengharapkan lebih. Secara keseluruhan, itu sepadan!

The Shell Resort & Spa Phu Quoc did not live up to its 5-star rating during my stay. Even with a premium ocean-view room booked months ahead and also arranged an airport pickup, so the resort knew exactly when we would arrive and should have had the room prepared. The room was not properly cleaned or maintained—hair everywhere, stained outdoor furniture, a cracked tub, and outdated interiors. It took far too long to reach a manager, and when I finally did. The manager on duty mentioned that all ocean-view rooms had similar wear and tear. He offered me a villa room—which was actually cheaper than what I had originally paid—and two spa vouchers. At that point I accepted the offer because I didn’t want to deal with more back-and-forth, but it still didn’t make up for the higher price I paid (over $100 USD per night for a 4-night stay). If the resort is aging, it should adjust its star rating or renovate to match the standards of a true 5-star property. I recommend renovations, including fresh paint, power washing, and updated interiors. To be honest, if the rooms and facilities are this run down, the resort should reconsider its 5-star rating. Google AI’s definition of “5-star” reflects top-tier luxury, exceptional quality, and proactive service, and this resort did not meet those expectations. That said, the pool, breakfast, transportation, and room service were great. — AT

Le buffet était très bons et au bord de la mer et piscine. Nous avons passé un excellent séjours à Phu quoc et avions prévu de louer nos scooters pour la semaine afin d’être autonome et aller manger et faire nos soins dans les petits villages autour. My villa room was huge & looked comfy! However, my blanket was discovered dirty and towels on the third day were also soiled. Property is dated and furnishings are old. Aircon in the Flow Restaurant was not working during my entire stay. Don't expect top-notch service from the staff; if they ever greet you a "Good morning" or "Hello", that's the best they can do. Property is about 15-20 mins ride away from the town area, and it's not possible to walk out to the main road. Only 1 restaurant is available for lunch & dinner, and food options are limited. Breakfast spread is considered normal. Fortunately, it's still affordable to get a ride to town and night market area. It's a good resort away from the hustle and bustle of life cos their villa room is big, the property is huge with lots of greenery and they have their own private beach, though next time, I would just stay for 2 nights only.

Beautiful location, fabulous breakfast . Room floors had a lot of live and dead bugs and hair . No lock for sliding glass doors but being on the second floor it was probably safe.

My villa room was huge & looked comfy! However, my blanket was discovered dirty and towels on the third day were also soiled. Property is dated and furnishings are old. Aircon in the Flow Restaurant was not working during my entire stay. Don't expect top-notch service from the staff; if they ever greet you a "Good morning" or "Hello", that's the best they can do. Property is about 15-20 mins ride away from the town area, and it's not possible to walk out to the main road. Only 1 restaurant is available for lunch & dinner, and food options are limited. Breakfast spread is considered normal. Fortunately, it's still affordable to get a ride to town and night market area. It's a good resort away from the hustle and bustle of life cos their villa room is big, the property is huge with lots of greenery and they have their own private beach, though next time, I would just stay for 2 nights only.

Beautiful location, fabulous breakfast . Room floors had a lot of live and dead bugs and hair . No lock for sliding glass doors but being on the second floor it was probably safe.
