good hotel in the center of Exeter shopping/dining area. you need to ask for a fridge beforehand.

Exeter滞在は必ず利用されていただいています。決してロンドン市内のようなクオリティの近代建築ホテルではありませんが、歴史を感じる重厚感ある部屋に泊まれます。スタッフ皆さんとても温かいです。周辺には飲食店も豊富です。お買い物も楽しめます。

Exeter Central駅の目の前にあり、移動の便が非常に良い。Exeter Cathedralを含めた街の中心からも徒歩10分程度でアクセス良好。

Clean spacious room and nice tea and coffee tray. Only issue was shower temperature struggled to find a warm/hot setting. Great staff at reception. Good location

Amazing value for money and very accommodating after a last minute change of plans meant we needed to add an extra guest to our room. The Rougemont hotel is beautiful, full of character and very conveniently located opposite Exeter Central station, but despite the location there was barely any road noise.

Reading the previous reviews, I feel like I had a case of bad luck!! 😭 Positives - The hotel is in a central location - literally a stones throw from Exeter Central station (30 seconds) and has such a grand reception area as you enter. The reception team were great in allowing my friend to enter the room prior to me paying as I was delayed due to accidents. Thank you for that Negatives - the room had no spare towels in the wardrobe as stated nor an ironing board. The latter not so bad because that is a quick call to reception; but on the third night, our room wasn’t cleaned as the hotel states although I had checked the day before if it would be. By the fourth night it was but we only had one more night there. On the morning of my checkout, I asked to leave my luggage there and had to pay £5!! The man at reception stated it is free on the weekends which is ridiculous but what is worse is that Jan 1 is a weekend and if I wasn’t running to catch a train for my hike, I would have stated that. I have never had to pay to leave my luggage at a hotel that I have stayed in and it didn’t help matters to find out that members of my hiking crew who also stayed there did not have to pay. It is unreasonable to have charged me and not even issue a refund for it. It put a massive dampener on the trip because I only stayed there because our hiking party was held there for NYE but after the service I experienced, I will look at alternative accommodation.

First time staying in a hotel into Christmas Day, great touches from the hotel, including a personal Christmas card in the room and fizz at breakfast

Room was badly set out. Bathroom was tiny. Had to shuffle round the bathroom door to be able to use the toilet. Shower screen was so close to the sink it was ridiculous. Charged £5 to leave luggage as too early to book in although not sure what the £5 was actually for.. maybe the tag? Great location but disappointing experience.

The staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel downstairs is amazing but the room was very tired. It was a cold night and there was no extra blanket but on requesting one the next morning a second duvet was supplied. We did not have breakfast so cannot comment on that. The position of the hotel is excellent. Right opposite the railway station and a short walk from the city centre.

The room was lovely. Good size and comfy. Bathroom was lovely. All very clean. Staff were friendly. We were disappointed when we arrived as wanted to leave a small bag for couple hours as bit early for room and we were charged £5. We've never paid anywhere else for that service.

As always the staff are very welcoming and helpful. Great location near the station and within easy walking of town centre. Nice spacious room.

Room 230 had holes in the curtains when drawn, very noticeable, so new curtains needed. Also provide a coffee machine with pods, but give you the little cartons of UHT milk, which you have to keep asking for. There is a fridge in the room, why not a jug of milk in the fridge would be better. Also attention to detail, eg) soap dispenser fitted to wall, but out of line, not straight, seem with bathroom vent. Also noise of the central heating is loud, kept me awake the first night.

Perfect location for exploring Exeter town and quite beautiful and well kept.
