노보텔 멜버른 온 콜린스

방도 적당히 넓고 깨끗합니다. 청소도 잘 되어 있구요.

우선 방 크기가 커서 좋았고 바로 나오면 트램 타기도 편리해서 너무 좋았습니다.

We made reservation for two junior suite. We also asked a month ahead, the hotel to arrange them in the same floor nearby, and they replied positively. However, on arrival at 1pm, we got the largest separation between two rooms. 1×03 and 1x40. We asked if any adjustment possible, but we got refused. There was a construction going on both room of room 1x03 and 1x40. Peoples working at the building under construction, just 10 meters away, it was impossible to open the curtain in the room. For the room 1x03, the door lock was unstable. Upon leaving and closing the door, it did not lock automatically. We had to confim its locking several times. Finally, the wifi connection was extremely unstable. Also not secured connection. It was reconnecting every minute. Thus I finally gave up and had to use hotspot data from my cell phone. The worst experience I had, over last several years. The desk staffs were not friendly, and returned their basic response "It is not possible at this moment". At least I can say that the service level under the same chain of Novotel at Sydney ahead Melbourne was quite different and satisfactory. This hotel at Melbourne need some adjustments.

일단 위치가 너무 좋았고, 더블침대 2개가 있는 가족객실이 매우 넓어서 좋았어요. 서비스는 체인호텔답게 정량화되어 있어 편안했고 요청에 빨리빨리 응답해주셔서 좋았어요. 추천합니다!~

Whilst a great hotel for convenience in f shops s and being in the middle of the city a lot of amenities were out of order including most lifts in the property making a long wait to get out and the spa was not working leaving the kids stuck for activities

Close to Collins St theatres

The lifts weren’t all working, the staff unhelpful and the hallways filthy. Weren’t advised that rooms only cleaned every second day. The bathroom was filthy with mould. The room keys kept losing their programme which meant more queuing for the lifts and at reception. I have had better standards in lower class hotels

Chose to stay because of the spa but it was out of action. Also requires 2 different sets of lifts to access rooms which can take a fair amount of time. 1 lift was broken during our stay also. Room was not as pictured and had minimal natural light. Staff were friendly and it is located in a good location.

Two of the three lifts didn’t work, the phone and some light switches didn’t work

Great place to stay with kids - they liked the pool and buffet breakfast. The room was neat and tidy and had everything we needed. The lifts were not working which was inconvenient, and the spa was also out of order - it would have been nice to enjoy the spa while kids were in the pool rather than sitting in the cold!

Great place to stay, super central, great friendly staff. Pool of course a highlight with the kids!

Terrible stay at the Novotel on Collin’s. Check in was running an hour and a half late and though we were given drink vouchers we just wanted to get to our room. I asked for an update three times and they always said they’d come over and see us. Never did. I had to keep following up. Not easy with three kids sitting in a hotel bar. Got in our rooms, no plugs for baths, kids had to use a face washer and shower in kids room didn’t work. Looking forward to a swim. Indoor pool absolutely freezing and spa not working. Lifts frequently broken at one stage my partner didn’t even bother trying to go back upstairs. Staff were mostly ok but had really rude service at the breakfast buffet. Needed to request table was wiped down (very dirty). Don’t bother. Never again.

Maintenance in the building has taken a step back. Dirty floors, hallways. We went to have dessert at the bar at 8:30pm and menus were being taken away instead of staff politely saying anything to us. Breakfast was sad and not of high quality at all. The sofa bed should include a bed topper if you’re going to utilise it has a bed when people book. My littles ones were up all night being uncomfortable. Pool area needs to be mopped and cleaned regularly. The hotel lifts are beyond a joke, the entire facility needs a revamp and a warmer more inviting feeling for guests to be there.

Only one of the lifts was working on a busy weekend so it was terribly slow. The hallways were in need of a good vacuum. Otherwise not bad. Breakfast was good and the room was nice.

Great location in Melbourne, wasn’t sure what to expect as the entrance isn’t very inviting but once you get up to the reception level there was a nice bar and restaurant area. Lots of people use the hotel for business. Very good breakfast which was included, one of the best I’ve had. I’d stay here again.
