We made reservation for two junior suite. We also asked a month ahead, the hotel to arrange them in the same floor nearby, and they replied positively. However, on arrival at 1pm, we got the largest separation between two rooms. 1×03 and 1x40. We asked if any adjustment possible, but we got refused. There was a construction going on both room of room 1x03 and 1x40. Peoples working at the building under construction, just 10 meters away, it was impossible to open the curtain in the room. For the room 1x03, the door lock was unstable. Upon leaving and closing the door, it did not lock automatically. We had to confim its locking several times. Finally, the wifi connection was extremely unstable. Also not secured connection. It was reconnecting every minute. Thus I finally gave up and had to use hotspot data from my cell phone. The worst experience I had, over last several years. The desk staffs were not friendly, and returned their basic response "It is not possible at this moment". At least I can say that the service level under the same chain of Novotel at Sydney ahead Melbourne was quite different and satisfactory. This hotel at Melbourne need some adjustments.

일단 위치가 너무 좋았고, 더블침대 2개가 있는 가족객실이 매우 넓어서 좋았어요. 서비스는 체인호텔답게 정량화되어 있어 편안했고 요청에 빨리빨리 응답해주셔서 좋았어요. 추천합니다!~

Cleanliness of room, particularly the bathroom wasn’t to a satisfactory standard. Hairs were left in the shower

I spent 15 nights, not one staff member attempted to even ask my name. Poor service, crowded and not helpful in general. Biggest issue was the AC, it’s temperamental and it varies up to 2 degrees so suddenly the room is super hot then super cold. It can sit either on 24 or 19 no other options and it’s terrible. You can’t control your room temperature. The lift stunk the entire time, and sometimes the lift just decided not to move. Room maintenance is basic on daily basis, even when you put the towel on the floor to get changed sometimes it doesn’t. Basic coffee station with extremely limited options. For the amount I paid and for 4.5 star level. I’m not impressed at all… would think twice about re-booking here

Room was reg cleaned. All staff friendly and helpful. Great breakfast, $10 less if booked during check in. Wld def stay there again

room was nice and clean. working out the lights was a nightmare- god knows how the bedside lights work and you couldnt get the lamp to stay on with out the room lights so it was either pitch black in the room or bright light. rooom service phone line went unanswered multiple times, the air con was redicousley noisy when it reached temp and shut down - so much so that i had to wear earplugs. the plumbing from the room next door also excessivly noisy if they had an early shower. front desk staff were great and location is very good. 2/5

Great locstion

Location was perfect! So close to all the major shops, eateries and entertainment. Staff were extremely helpful, polite and responsive with requests. Room was very clean, amenities as they look in the pictures. The only change I would make is requesting a room no where near the elevators. Our room was directly across and I hear them go up and down all night. Other than that, great experience.

Good for the price, but tired and needs a refurbishment. Great location.

Clean room

The room was clean and the service was excellent. I left 2 expensive items in the room on check out and they were express posted to me immediately. Great service.

Hotel was in area that was close to shopping and restaurants. Our room could have done with an upgrade very tired looking, carpet was all torn. Housekeeping wasn't up to standard. Staff in the lounge area and restaurant were excellent. Also the staff on Entry area were really helpful

Arrived at the hotel late in the evening around 9:30pm and was told they had no rooms available. Dispite me having a confirmation email saying the room was booked. I was told 2 others were waiting for rooms and my response was don't I come first as I actually have a booking confirmation? The Duty Managers only response was I can cancel the booking for you and I said no I would like to just go to the room. Neither staff behind the counter bothered to assist and frankly looked as they didn't care that I was left without accommodation late at night in the city. Only advice given was to try booking somewhere else LWTF seriously poor customer service for a Gold Loyalty Member. Not impressed at all with the total lack of regard that I had no accommodation on my own late at night to roam the streets to find something. Seriously poor customer service..

Great location. Short walks to malls, Southbank and tram. Friendly bar staff. Check-in staff needs to be a little bit cheerful and welcoming. Otherwise, rooms are good. Will definitely stay again.
