Excellent

We paid for a park view and got one with a beautiful view of the British Museum. However, the particular room we were assigned was tiny. (Rm 500) I think that was just bad luck. The hotel was gorgeously decorated for Christmas. A nice classic older hotel. There is a tube station right around the corner from the hotel but we mostly walked everywhere. The Bloomsbury neighborhood had some cute bars and restos. The cocktail lounge at the hotel was really nice, but we had poor service both nights we stopped in. Had to ask for our check multiple times and it wasn't that they were that busy maybe just understaffed.

Being able to check into our room early really got our stay off to a great start as we were arriving after a long flight. The staff were very kind, friendly and anxious to help in any way. The fluffiness of the towels was another level and everything about the hotel spoke of quality and attention to detail.

In spite of paying well over £350 a night there was no free breakfast ! Hotel is beautiful but our room was tiny and underwhelming. Great location and friendly staff .

It’s an extremely elegant hotel run by elegant professionals working hard to make your stay as perfect as possible.

Det var ett fantastiskt hotel, både service, renlighet, frukost och läget var riktigt bra. Det enda som varit tråkigt är att jag inte fått tillbaka depositionen man betalade vid incheckningen och har skickat en hel del mail för att lösa det. Inte löst än men det kommer de ordna förutsätter jag.

Every staff member (except for one bar person who perhaps was having a bad day) was fantastic. Really friendly, engaging and interested in the guests. They clearly wanted guests to enjoy their experience while in the hotel. Our room was perfect, beautifully decorated and very relaxing after a day out. We couldn't have had a better time. The only niggle was with working out the final bill at checkout. The itemisation was unclear and we had been charged for items we hadn't ordered (or told were comped). This was dealt with without issue at reception but shouldn't have been necessary. I'd recommend, if you charge drinks/ food to your room, to ask for a full printout for each day. Otherwise you're just presented with a total and expected to guess if it's correct. My suggestion to management would be to improve this step to ease the checkout process. I would highly recommend staying here!
