Really friendly staff and excellent food. Great location. Well stocked bar with plenty of choice, seating inside and out.
Room was spacious but could have been cleaner, there were bits on the floor that made their way onto the pillows then the bed, hairs on the toilet and no soap in the container in the shower.
Would definitely go back if ever in the area again.

There is nothing you could complain about. The beds are lovely, nice pillows and very cloud like duvet. Perfectly clean and comfortable room. Our dogs were welcome in their pet-friendly rooms and even given a sausage breakfast to their delight. We’ve eaten here many times. The roast is one of the best I’ve ever had. Always the same high standard. This is the vacation “local” pub that you wish your village had. And so reasonably priced for the service and quality.

This was an amazing place to stay. The staff were excellent and friendly. Especially the General Manager Ryan who went above and beyond to make my stay special.
The room was spotless, comfortable, and a great size.
The food in the restaurant was tasty, great choice and huge portions.

The Sawmill was recommended to us by a friend who stayed last year. We arrived to a warm welcome, by the manager, Ryan. The room was warm and inviting, and had everything we needed, (Water, tea, coffee etc, and hairdryer.
As we had driven from Poole, we wanted to eat in. The fire is brilliant, the staff friendly, and the food worthy of 5 stars.
There was real ale, and lovely melot wine.
BReakfast was huge, and filling, all cooked fresh. We would recommend it to anyone.
