Super location, great transport links nearby. Rooftop space included several seating areas, small pool and bar. Lovely comfortable bar area.The room (number 214) and bathroom were clean, well equipped and big enough for both of us. Did not eat at the hotel as plenty of other options nearby.

L’hôtel Silken est situé dans la Rambla. Quartier très animé et touristique. Le personnel était charmant et à l’écoute. La chambre très bien équipée et très propre, ce qui est fort appréciable. Je le recommande.

Great location. The pool and roof top patio is a nice touch, however the drinks are a bit pricey. The rooms were perfect and the cleaning staff so friendly.

The staff was great and very helpful. Located close to Las Ramblas, but the neighborhood was not clean. The room was clean but there were holes in the laminate floors and the corridor walls and the couch was in poor shape.

Hotellet er virkelig fint. Kanon beliggenhed; virkelig god seng, roof top bar. Lille, fin pool. Vi spiste morgenmad ude i byen. Brugte heller ikke restaurant. Der mangler lidt hygge i lobbyen.

This was our 4th time at this hotel and the service has declined dramatically. Rachelle on the front desk was rude and unhelpful. She advised us the rooftop pool was closed on a sunny 30 degree because it rained earlier. Rather than mop or squigy the floor, she made the decision to close the pool all tighter at 4pm. After some escalation and pressure from other hotel guests, she reluctantly unlocked the door and allowed us to use the pool but proclaimed ‘the bar is closed, no staff, no drinks’. I’ve never had such shocking service at a hotel in Spain. Our room smelled very damp and had a strong musty odor that never subsided. The air conditioning was ok, but it certainly wasn’t cold enough for us. Our room was big and well appointed and the hotel location was awesome! Alex who was the concierge was super nice and very helpful; shame Rochelle’s bad attitude ruined everything. We won’t go back, there are better options in the same area with nicer staff.

Je recommande cet hôtel avec chambre spacieuse et emplacement très pratique, à proximité de la Rambla. Nous avons eu un coup de coeur pour le Café Lobo situé à côté le matin. L’air conditionné ne parvenait pas à enlever l’humidité dans la chambre. Odeur d’humidité, surtout dans les corridors. Parfait pour un court séjour et bien visiter Barcelone.

My friend and I checked into 2 different places— at hers they welcomed her, brought her bags, and took time to share the great things about Barcelona, and invited her for wine at 7. Here I got my key, and although the lady helped to remove my bags, that was all there was. The food at the restaurant was good, but it was hard to find someone to help. Pros- the shower, and bathroom in general. Wow. The room size was perfect. I liked the view from my room. It’s easy to get around. The people were kind. It was clean. Lots of amenities. Cons- as I write this I can hear everything in the halls (neighbours knocking, doors opening, talking), I feel a good rest may be difficult. I felt the lobby staff could have done more (sharing about the city). A peep hole in the door would be nice, as would the added security of a chain lock. Trying to use the phone to connect with the front desk seems to be impossible. Tried to call, nothing happened. There is nothing in the room to help navigate that. Tried to find the room service menu, could only access online. Would be nice to have all of that in the room. It’s a nice place, but I feel it’s missing the above to make my stay easier and more comfortable.

Nice hotel, great staff. Very busy area so lots to do but also can be loud. Overall very nice!

Super location, great transport links nearby. Rooftop space included several seating areas, small pool and bar. Lovely comfortable bar area.The room (number 214) and bathroom were clean, well equipped and big enough for both of us. Did not eat at the hotel as plenty of other options nearby.

L’hôtel Silken est situé dans la Rambla. Quartier très animé et touristique. Le personnel était charmant et à l’écoute. La chambre très bien équipée et très propre, ce qui est fort appréciable. Je le recommande.
