Aside from the great location, aesthetics and initial interaction with the staff, this hotel was a very bad experience.
The main issue is the obnoxiously loud machinery noise every few minutes (including overnight) from a generator or something else in the hotel. I think the hotel knows this, as they even include ear plugs in the bathroom. It is a very low pitched noise and also comes at random times which means we did not get much sleep during our stay. The walls are also very thin and can hear most of the surrounding rooms.
The room itself is quite clean and a fridge was a bonus. However, the kitchen stovetop kettle and pot were rusty so we had to get our hot water from the community room.

Located in the center of the Lucern city hub. Very convenient amd close to the bus stop and the Lucern Train Station. The room was clean and the kitchen has all the amenities except a microwave oven. The luggage locker is very useful for us. But it would be better if there is a lock on the door which can be opened by the residents only.

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. It’s in a great location and our room and kitchenette was well equipped. The only info I would share for others is that an eye mask and ear plugs are 100% essential! The hallway light remains on full and a lot of light came in under the door and window blinds. We had a floor 1 room and people were constantly slamming the front door at all hours, chatting loudly to each other all the way to their rooms and the stairs are concrete so quite loud. Without the earplugs they kindly supplied we wouldn’t have had much sleep.

One level up from a hostel. Did not get check in email until requested. No cards to register at from door/lobby (person on staff had ONE job) leaving us and multiple other guests unable to access our rooms. Phone lock never worked. Location was great right in the middle of town and less than a 15 min walk to train station. Room was as promised.

The Lubo ligt gunstig ten opzichte van het station en is gemakkelijk te vinden. Inchecken gat prima. Het is wel een beetje een doolhof met een trappetje op en dan weer af; ook al neem je de lift. Plezierig is het Rokka café, een goede plek voor een ontbijt of voor een drankje later op de dag.
Ruime en redelijk comfortabele kamer. Snap alleen niet waarom de lamp in de keuken alleen uitgaat als je alle lampen uitdoet; dus ook je bedlamp. Hiervoor moet je dan wel je bed uit; onhandig.
Voorzieningen – winkels en horeca – te kust en te keur in de directe omgeving van de Lubo. Let op: twee uitgangen.
