Hampton by Hilton Bath City

The room was spacious and very well kept with a special drinks tray and fridge area. The bed was very comfortable and the feather pillows were wonderful. Thank you for a great stay in Bath

The staff was professional and courteous. They allowed us an early check in. It was a good location, and breakfast had a good variety of food.

I had to try and move my break due to my partners mum passing away suddenly and gave a weeks notice. Requested to move it and was not allowed to, not able To get a refund. Staff very unhelpful and given the circumstances I would have thought a bit of compassion and understanding would have been forthcoming. There was plenty of vacancies the following week and it would have been good to have got away together to reflect on the recent events. But I was asked to pay for the weekend in full and not have a refund or be able to just move it. We had a booking at Thermespa down the road, they moved everything no problem. Awful service and very disappointing

A lovely stay with a very comfortable room, breakfast was nice but very limited options for the waffles, which I was looking forward most to, wish there was more fruit and compote to go with, was disappointed that we had to pay for parking which was a lot for 24 hours, we did use the 15% discount provided which was a help but personally for paying a night stay and no parking available at the hotel the parking which was the one option should be free for customers at the Hampton.

Good room great staff

Breakfast options limited with no option when asked to poach an egg with cereal & fruit stock being poor and very limited. Parking charges are a real issue as a traveller warning. Park where they suggest and add your registration at reception for a reduced rate. At the car park to pay but nothing reduced so not the £16 as advertised for 24 hours but near £30. Called reception and simply batted this off as not their car park and were unhelpful and frankly not interested once I had checked out! Please budget for this in overall cost of your stay.

The whole experience was perfect from our welcome, to the location, immaculate, well decorated room, responsive staff and delicious breakfast. We were quite impressed by the quality of our stay!

Great hotel in an excellent location. Don’t expect all the bells and whistles of a luxury hotel (like bathrobes and Netflix) but does the job.
