I think this is a great resort/hotel for the price. I found the staff to be excellent, attentive, and courteous. The pools are very nice for the kids and the water park is suitable for the whole family. The views are good and it’s close to a beach area. The restaurant was a bit pricey for the cost of the hotel but overall I give them a thumbs up!

This property was a fantastic place to start my family's month long vacation in Cebu. The vast amount of water activities were more than enough to keep my son very active for the four days we were there ( as a matter of fact its all he talked about for the remainder of the month ). My wife and I feel that the balcony overlooking the property and the ocean was very romantic and peaceful. We will be back soon and will stay with you all again!

The property is beautiful. Unfortunately when we went there was ashfall causing all outdoor amenities to be closed for the duration of what my stay was supposed to be. Solea offered nothing to make up for this.

Solea Mactan Resort Beware of this resort that is claiming to be a 4 star resort Building/Structure: it seems that this hotel only opened in 2019 if im not mistaken but the structures look very old and worn down And not well maintained Breakfast: The room is for 4 people but only 2 people are covered for breakfast. Additional persons over 5 years old are 450php per person Earth Restaurant- the restaurant next to the pool does not allow anyone in wet clothes But I saw someone the next morning During breakfast hours who was in their swimsuit and was soaking wet (I guess the rule only applied to some) Food is a mix of different cuisines Do not and I mean do not eat the PUTO MAYA it is absolutely upsetting You will also find the Danggit (dried fish) tucked all the way to the farthest corner in the back Past the bathroom! Lugaw is not Filipino style It is very white very bland and absolutely no seasoning at all AND ALSO if you ask for a to go cup for your coffee they charge another 50php just for the paper cup Room: 2/10 Our room door did not lock And there were no bathrobes and slippers that were intended to be included with our room Our room had a broken bathtub drain, and the maintenance man came to “fix” the bathtub and as soon as he opened the drain All the water flooded to the bathroom floor Mind you this was around 8pm And when I called front desk They did not even offer an alternate room! My kids haven’t showered and were already tired and ready for bed F

We booked twice in Solea, but the staff are not organized, bathroom has molds, rooms are not cleaned and the room dont have smoke alarm for emergency use. Overall rating not a good hotel and resort to booked.

Avoid this property. It's a zoo packed with noisy children. Not even a single pool for adults only. Everywhere you go it's noisy. Floors are slippery with no warning signs. I slipped and not a single one of the staff even came over to check ed if I was fine. Took an hour to check in. The only hotel we've been that we have to line up on everything. Long line up to check in, to go breakfast, only 2 elevators for the whole property? We end up taking stairs to the 6th floor since it's quicker than waiting for the elevator. Deferred maintenance, rooms are dirty, towels smells. Look somewhere else not worth coming to this place.

Clean room, staff most likely will greet acknowledge your presence, several outdoor pools plus a waterpark, dining buffet is a must. Been there twice and will return. Laundry service also available. Pit falls were the shower would leak over the tub, dishes /beer bottles left at pool side from the day before.

The room was clean but did have to follow up each day with room keeping staff regarding clean towels and bathroom amenities for the room after it was cleaned each day which customers should not have to do this as this should be done each day by the staff when the room is tidied up and cleaned each day. The air conditioning system in the room also was not the best and didn’t seem to work properly. Outdoor pools and beach were great and staff were really friendly and helpful. I did try the buffet for dinner on the Saturday night. The dining starts at 6pm I arrived at 6:30pm for dinner, even though the buffet had a vast selection of food, the food was cold already and quite disappointing the taste of each selection not what I expected from a dinner buffet. I did try to give it another chance for the morning buffet the next day which was Mother’s Day which was an even greater disappointment. I feel management need to take the full responsibility here. Even though like most customers at the resort/hotel would have prepaid for breakfast there was a 30-40 minutes wait before I was seated. There was no seats inside the restaurant and was seated outside in the bar area as no room inside the restaurant. When I did get to serve myself there was no plates to serve and clean plates not refilled. Once again there were plenty of options but this time there was no food as nearly all had run out and not replenished by the kitchen as seems they ran out. Management seems did not pre plan day
