Overall this hotel was decent and I would stay again. 1. The air conditioning is quite weak, somehow I don't think the conditioner is sized correctly for the room's cubic area as it took ages for it to change the temperature - with the windows closed, and radiator off. The hotel is evidently well-insulated but getting rid of excess heat is an issue. 2. Car parking - specific numbered spaces are allocated but multiple times cars were parked in different spaces, including the one assigned to me - just a free for all. There's no real need to allocate a specific space though as long as the hotel doesn't over-provision, which I don't think they would. 3. Breakfast - the selection was diverse but some staff members are much better than others at helping - there's a clear gap in the training levels with some who are really good and some not so great. The hotel caters mainly to tour groups and I think there were maybe half a dozen non-group customers staying at any one time.

Highly recommend this Hotel. We got upgraded (a lovely surprise) to a room with view over Lake Lucerne, beautiful. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were always friendly, very helpful. A bus stop outside the hotel was perfect to get into Lucerne but walking along the lake on the pathway to Lucerne was preferred, easy, safe, entertaining and just stunning. The common areas of the hotel were inviting and very comfortable. Breakfast had enough variety to please everyone, delicious. Thanks for our perfect stay.
