Had a great room that overlooked the Blue Mosque and city. Best location and walkable to everything. Wonderful restaurants. A huge shout out to the bellman Ozcan for his assistance and professionalism! Will definitely come back! Highly recommend!

Located within walking distance from many of the sightseeing attractions in Istanbul.

Breakfast on the 6th floor restaurant is spectacular-light airy and the food selection has variety one would go far to find.Sets one up for fabulous day of sightseeing.

A weekly amount of $1000 was obtained and a death case was used, but unfortunately the hotels did not sweep my history and did not understand the humanitarian situation, and the time was not changed in exchange for money

Unfortunately, we had a terrible experience. Booked 2 rooms with at least one twin. On arrival, 1 double room was ready, 2nd was not, they promised this will be ready in a few hours as twin bed. This was not done, also the rooms were not next to each other. The hotel staff member was very rude and displayed shocking behaviour by threatening us not to contact our booking agent. If we do, then he will get mad and angry. I was told the next day the rooms would be arranged as requested, but nothing was done. After repeated requests, our children's room was moved to the 5th floor for a twin bed while we were on the 2nd floor and were told this woul be rectified next day. But they didn't. This is an old rundown hotel with rooms with no natural daylight. Even the light in the rooms is very low. Bathroom fittings are either broken or not fixed properly. Room doors shake when you check to confirm locking. This is not 5 5-star at all. Avoid at your peril. Left 1 day early from the hotel due to feeling unsafe, overall very bad experience. Although we came across guest relations staff when we were checking out, who were apologetic and wanted to help but it was too late. Disappointed that guest relations team asked us to reach out to them via email on our return home, but they did not respond or acknowledge the email. Location is great. The reception area looks good and grand. Don't be fooled by this, as the rest of the hotel is terrible. Especially our rooms.

The worst hotel that we didn’t stay there one night. We were moved 3 times to 3 different rooms. We booked a seaview suite and we got the most dirty and old room. The carpet was filthy dirty. Broken furnitures. The smell in the room was like a toilet. We have a lot of pictures and videos. One of the room was on top of a restaurant and had no adequate curtain. The ac didn’t work. We lived a nightmare. We left the hotel by expedia recommendations to go and move to a hotel nearby. We had to walk the street at 12am! The pictures of the hotel online was nothing like in reality! Please do not go to this hotel.

Stayed for two nights. Very friendly and helpful front desk and guest relations. Clean facilities. Very assessable to tram and ferry terminal. Very good shopping selection on the very street of the hotel. The breakfast selection was amazing, breakfast started at 6:30 a.m. which gave us plenty of time to eat and get an early start.

The hotel has a great location, very close to all the main tourist attractions. It was easy to walk or take a short ride to everything I wanted to see. The stay was comfortable and the convenience of the location made my trip much easier.

The staff were RUDE and ARROGANT Not willing to help. I will never step foot in their again

Very poor customer service. Istanbul very beautiful but the hotel has ruined our holiday. The shuttle service that was booked was awful. Dropped us on the main road saying that he cannot get to the hotel. We had to drag two kids and 4 luggages for 10 minutes to get to our hotel. We complained about the shuttle service the reception staff showed no sympathy and was quite rude. The breakfast buffet was a waste of money, the food selection is very low. The room cleaning was not done regularly. The return shuttle service was confirmed at the desk for 6am but they messed it up again and woke us up at 2am saying that our shuttle service is waiting. Very awful customer service. The hotel is very nice and the foreign staff are very friendly. I found the local staff very rude and not friendly. The manager who sorted our return shuttle to airport was very good. The location of the hotel is very good and would have given 5 stars if they hadn’t given us additional stress.

The hotel is decent but most of the ‘wow’ factor is in the main communal areas, such as the lobby, the spa and the lift. The rooms themselves feel outdated, especially in the bathrooms. It feels tired and worn out and there were areas where the wood has started to rot a little and there’s also slight rust on some of the fittings. Also the carpet in the room had ink stains. For a 5 star hotel, I expected things to feel fancy in the room as well as the communal areas but Legacy Ottoman seem to only pay care and attention to the spaces for external visitors rather than guests. Also, the room cleaning wasn’t great. The cleaners only replenished towels in the bathroom and didn’t tidy or wipe down surfaces etc. Again, for a 5 star hotel, you would expect a lot more attention to detail by the cleaning staff. However, the spa staff were lovely and very helpful. The spa is such a nice addition to the busy streets outside. The pool is great for family use but not for those wanting to do lengths and the maximum depth of the pool is only 1.4metres. The steam room and sauna were great and very quiet so we could relax with just our family.

Das Hotel ist von außen wie auch von innen wirklich wunderschön – fast wie ein Palast mitten in der Altstadt. Die Lage ist einmalig und das Ambiente sehr beeindruckend. Leider merkt man jedoch deutlich, dass das Hotel schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Die Teppiche waren stark verschmutzt, insgesamt wäre eine Renovierung dringend nötig. Schade, dass hier bisher nichts gemacht wurde, denn das Potenzial ist enorm. Auch das Restaurant hat mich nicht ganz überzeugt. Ich hätte mir mehr Frische und Qualität beim Essen erwartet. Man merkt zwar, dass sich das Personal Mühe gibt, aber es entspricht nicht dem Niveau, das man bei so einem schönen Hotel erwarten würde. Fazit: Ein traumhaft schönes Hotel mit einzigartiger Atmosphäre, aber dringend renovierungsbedürftig. Mit mehr Pflege und Liebe zum Detail könnte es ein echtes Juwel sein.
