Exceptional service, but significant technical issues with elevators. The staff were incredibly helpful and professional, when the elevators are not working, he suggested to help us bring luggage downstairs which we stayed in 11/F. The parking lot is quite a distance from the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient. The biggest issue was the elevators. Only 1 was working during our stay, leading to very long wait times. Most disappointingly, there was a morning both elevators were out of service, which is unacceptable for a hotel.

We were in for a night in transit after an overnight flight. Luckily our room was ready and we were allowed to check in an hour early. There was only one lift working, however we were conveniently on the 2nd floor which made easy use of the stairs. The rooms are basic, but clean and quiet and was perfect for our needs. Thanks team.

I just didn’t like the lighting in there it felt dark and on the booking it said we had a city view but no… we had a view off a wall so there was no sunlight apart from that super clean and helpful staff.

Shops nearby clean room but only 1 lift available at the premises that is not good

Breakfast was fresh with everything we could have desired. Friendly staff, comfortable room and in great location. We have stayed here before and will again in the future.

Close to sporting ovals

The place needs some work . Rooms old & beds cold . Water noise all night & doors slamming . Only one lift as other is being upgraded & apparently has been for over 6 weeks is a joke at one point took over 50 minutes to get ba k to room

On check in we were given room keys that didn’t work So after a number of trips / and this was extremely slow due to only one lift working we got into our room late / we were late to a formal engagement due to this. Then after explaining we need multi visits to the paid car park we were advised with the QR ticket this was fine. However on exit we were charged double $44 The advertised price was $22 flat rate. So nit a great experience & it did spoil our experience unfortunately

The hotel’s location was excellent and very convenient. However, the room was quite small, and the bathroom shower was particularly cramped, which could be difficult for larger guests. The bed was below average in terms of comfort. There was also only one functioning lift, as the second lift was out of order, resulting in long waiting times. Breakfast was average and did not particularly stand out. At $245 per night for a single room with a queen bed, I felt the price was too high considering the size and overall quality of the room and facilities. Overall, the location was the main positive, but the accommodation did not offer particularly good value for money.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip, but unfortunately, it wasn’t a pleasant experience. My room was on Level 2, and every morning I was woken up by the noise of the garbage truck. There were several large garbage bins directly outside my window, which made it even worse. The room also had a connecting door to the next room. Although it was locked, the soundproofing was very poor. I could clearly hear my neighbor’s alarm going off every morning, phone conversations, and even snoring throughout the night. Another issue was the lighting. The room was far too dim, making it difficult to work comfortably at the desk, which is important for business travelers. The lift was also a major inconvenience. One of the lifts was out of service during my stay, so the remaining elevator was always overcrowded. At checkout, I had to wait a long time just to get downstairs because it was packed with people. Overall, I was quite disappointed with my stay. Due to the noise, poor soundproofing, inadequate lighting, and elevator issues, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again on my next visit.

Room dirty, 6 months on and still only one working lift that takes forever to get guests up and down.

I stay at this motel regularly for business due to it being close to my office and generally in a great location for shops and restaurants. Its amenities are basic the odd vending machine and unfortunately no gym. The bed sheets on this trip look to have grease marks on them so that was a little concerning. One lift has been out of service for some time now and this makes getting to your room or work a little frustrating. Stay here for a maximum of one night in my opinion

Great location and a nice hotel. One of the lifts is currently out for maintenance so expect a wait.

The Mercure was extremely convenient and central to all major shopping, food and entertainment. The staff were amazing. They were all so friendly, a big warm smile and so helpful. We'll definitely be back. Thankyou for having us, Mercure Melbourne
