Service and location is good

Convenient location. Staff was very nice. We stored our luggage at the concierge after check out but came back a couple of times to repack the stuff. But the staff had no complaints and greeted us every time with smiles. Love their services.

Horrible, very dirty and dusty. Bedside lamps are both not working, the air-con was super noisy. And cleaning status is unsatisfactory

Breakfast menu was good. Everything is so nearby. The location is perfect to kust wonderr around. Absolutely perfect place qas for us to enjoy the weekend.

Location was awesome but it ended there Room on the 14th floor, really dirty, carpet ripped, wallpaper peeling off the walls, tap in the bathroom sink broken out of the basin, one broken lift and the other two were overloaded, when I alerted reception she just shrugged. Probably better around for the price

Very convenient location

Excellent location but not up to a Novotel standard…only one lift for over 300 rooms. A nightmare especially as the only working one broke down with myself, my granddaughter and other people in it albeit for a very short time…used fire escape and ended up in some back lane…had to ask directions to get back to the front of the hotel…told reception staff but just seemed fed up with the situation…really long walk from room to lift…door cards were cancelled a day early…overcharged for breakfasts..awaiting refund…there seemed to be no management in the restaurant. Staff tried their best and were very polite but disorganised…lack of cleanliness around the breakfast area.spilt food,coffee juice…no plates for toast, missing bacon or beans etc…although choice was good..enjoyed a well cooked evening meal… I have used many Novotel especially at Auckland airport…always excellent but this one in Melbourne needs much attention… sorry but will not use again or recommend and think twice about using the brand…

Our rooms were a long way to walk to, the breakfast was not good very busy and not much food to select from, only 1 lift out of 3 was working, but good location and would stay there again because of location

Great location. Waiting on new lifts, so presently there are limited lifts and quite crowded. Clean, nice friendly staff and centrally located. Breakfast is very good but coffee is poor. Tea is very good, lots of options. Would still recommend even with the lift issues

Great location very close to all things Melbourne

Had to change room. Tv wasn't working. Shower drain flooded in bathroom. Carpet in hallways needed cleaning.

Location, location, location !!! It suited our needs to a tee for our short trip to Melbourne. Lifts were not all in working order and were on the slow side, most noticeable during times of peak use by hotel patrons. Wasn't sure that there was an attempt to fix the non-operational lift with any urgency despite the obvious need to.

We've stayed at this hotel a number of times but were dissapointed this time. The hotel is looking very tired and is in need on a good upgrade. One lift wasn't operational for the entire stay which was frustrating at peak times. The breakfast buffet was frequently unstocked and what was available was less than impressive. Not sure how you can muck up scrambled eggs! The rooms are very standard, and we didnt have the "basic" room. Not all amenities were restocked daily.

Was a great central location. Pool was not what we had hoped for, very cloudy on the verge of dirty.

Excellent Buffet Breakfast each morning and excellent location to Melbourne activities and sites
