Hôtel Newstar Montréal

开房的时候前台就一个人，效率低到令人发指！我们全家精疲力尽就想尽快到房间休息一下，但是开房居然开了整整一个小时！一直让我稍等稍等！太垃圾了！

Très bien apprécier cette hôtel

We had no hot water and the morning clerk ignored our complaint. The evening clerk was helpful and changed the room we were assigned when we told him that my husband had a hard time with stairs and gave us something on the ground floor. He was very helpful. Too bad the morning clerk wasn’t as helpful.

Hôtel bon rapport qualité prix, chambre plutôt propre, quelques détails sont à améliorer (ampoule qui clignote, eau chaude et eau froide inversée…).

スタッフがきちんと対応しない。 内線壊れていてフロントに繋がらない。 テレビのリモコンの電池を変えて欲しいと言っても対応なし。 部屋の掃除もタオルの交換もなし。3泊しているのに。 部屋のコーヒーメーカーが壊れているので直して欲しいと言ったが、対応なし。 安くない宿泊費を支払っているのに大変残念てす。 次からエクスペディアは使いたくないです。

The room was OK, but don’t get me started on the bathroom. It was absolutely disgusting and on top of that when I went to return my card to checkout, I bumped it to another customer who was complaining about her dirty bathroom and saying that it was unacceptable. The police was overall very sketchy.

I arrived quite early and was hoping to pay-up for an early check-in. No such luck, as they'd veen fully booked and were still turning over the rooms. The syaff waspolite and helpful and directed me to come back at 4pm. It was a long wait but there are plenty coffee shops, parks, and even a library close by. Upon my return at 4ish, the lobby was quite busy and it took the staff quite a while to work through the guests. They did so as quickly and efficiently as they could and dealt with some rude customers in a professional manner. When i made it my room, i was a bit disappointed to find the room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, though it is a non-smoking property. I also found the furnishings to be outdated and there were some gouges and a stain on the walls (somebody's fumbled pasta dish, maybe). The floors could have used an extra sweep after they mopped, too. Thankfully, the bed linens were clean and cozy and the bathroom was adequately clean. Tbh, i'm not that picky, and knew i wasn't exactly booking the Ritz Carlton. The bar is small and generally populated by locals. The staff there are fantastic! Be sure to check out Cafe Milano, less than a block away, for some of the best coffee and atmosphere around. For me, Hotel Newstar fit the bill. If you're looking for a plush and upscale experience, it's likely not the spot for you. Again though, the staff were lovely!

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Newstar. Our room was clean, and the air conditioning worked very well, which made the stay comfortable. One thing to note is that the windows in the room cannot be opened. The neighborhood is quiet and offers many restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Reaching downtown Montreal is also very easy: bus 32 stops conveniently close to the hotel and takes you directly to the metro. But we had a car and used it. Overall, a comfortable stay in a peaceful area with good services nearby.

La chambre sentait l’humidité, la cigarette, était mal propre, et infester de fourmi même dans les draps.

Honestly so sad because i practicly wasted my money as after 2days of staying i left because there was bed bugs i left to sleep somewhere else as i booked for 9 days so 9 days waisted of money , my poor kids all bitting everywhere they are traumatized now to sleep .Sad cuz staff at reception was so joyfull, social and respecfull girl and boy.

The property is infested with bed bugs, the staff is very rude and they don’t have proper communication skills . I recently stayed there and my experience was worst. The hotel suppressed the fact that there property is bedbug infested and admitted the same only when the 3 rd party agency confronted with them on our behalf with proofs I provided.

The property was cheap and the services and amenities was cheap as well. So basically you’re getting what you are paying for.

I had booked a room with the mini kitchen and the king size bed. I was exhausted upon check in and couldn’t wait to rest after travelling all day. I entered the room I was immediately hit with a strong smell of cigarettes and the AC unit only amplified my the smell. The bathroom was absolutely horrible, dirty and stained with cigarette smoke. Theres a reason they don’t show the shower for this room because the shower was absolutely nasty, dirty tile, no shelves, barely any space to wash my entire body. To top it all off, the deadbolt lock for my door wouldn’t lock and the phone in the room was just for decoration as it also didn’t work. The restaurant on site is cheap but for a reason. The food was horrible. My entire stay was uncomfortable and I ended up checking out early as the whole place was making me sick. All the clothes in my suitcase now stink of cigarettes. Staff was nice but it was the worst and dirtiest place I have ever stayed hands down. I do not recommended especially for solo female travellers

Property definitely need some upgrades Rather than that everything was perfect

Because of its proximity to the highway and the city center, this hotel is a good choice; we also really liked it for having its own parking and a good restaurant.
