Changchun Longjia International Airport (CGQ) is the main gateway to Jilin province in northeast China, located about 31 km northeast of downtown Changchun. It ranks among the 40 busiest airports in mainland China by passenger traffic and operates two passenger terminals.
Terminal 2 is the larger of the two, handling all international flights plus most domestic services, while Terminal 1 handles a smaller set of domestic carriers. Domestic airlines serving CGQ include Air China, China Eastern, China Southern, Hainan Airlines, Sichuan Airlines and Xiamen Airlines, with international links via carriers such as Asiana Airlines and Ural Airlines.
Most routes from CGQ link to major Chinese hubs such as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, with a smaller number of international routes to South Korea and Russia. For fares and schedules on specific routes, check Traveloka's dedicated flight pages, which cover route pricing in more depth than this overview.
Longjia railway station sits in the basement of the terminal building, with intercity rail connections to Jilin city. Five airport shuttle bus lines also run between the airport and central Changchun, including stops at Quan'an Square and Renmin Square, and taxis are available outside both terminals.
The terminal offers dining, duty-free and retail shops, currency exchange, luggage storage and Wi-Fi throughout, typical of a major Chinese regional hub airport.
