STL handled roughly 15.3 million passengers in 2025, making it one of the busiest airports in the US Midwest. It's the largest hub for Southwest Airlines outside Texas, with Southwest alone accounting for around 60% of the airport's traffic and nonstop service to 60+ destinations. Lambert has two terminals — Terminal 1 (Concourses A and C) and the smaller Terminal 2 (Concourse E), used mainly by Southwest.
