Local train options such as the JR Sobu Line are the cheapest way to get into Tokyo but are the least convenient.
• Bus: The Airport Limousine Bus is a convenient way to get to central Tokyo from the airport as it stops at most major hotels in Tokyo, including Tokyo Disney Resort. The bus option generally takes around one hour and 30 minutes.
• Private transfers: Private airport transfers are available to take you door to door from the airport to your Tokyo accommodation in around one hour and 30 minutes. If you’re travelling with a large enough group, it could even be cheaper per person than opting for the train or bus option with a fixed fare.
• Taxi/ride share: Taxis are available, and a journey into Tokyo will take around one hour and 30 minutes. However, these are an expensive option, with the cost typically around at least ¥30,000 (AUD$330). On top of this there are also often additional surcharges after 10pm.
• Car rental: Car rental is available and will set you back around an estimated minimum of ¥5,000 (AU$55) a day.
