The self checkin was easy and the room was clean and comfortable, although being an older building, the bathroom was small. There wasn't a staff person at reception but directions were easy to follow. The parking lot was a few blocks away and it was a little difficult to navigate a busy downtown during the festival.

The hotel is in a fantastic location for Quebec city centre but we were unhappy with the service. There were no staff on site for much of the time we were there. Maintenance problems were not dealt with. Any references to ‘limited available parking’ or breakfast proved tendentious. There was no parking and there was no breakfast at the hotel.

Parking is the issue, usually staff is recommending the parking at 79 Rue Dauphine, unfortunately 2 out of 4 nights was not able to park there, due to parking was full. It will be good if they can reserve a few spots for the hotel only.

J avais un peu peur à cause de certains commentaires que j avais lu mais je regrette pas mon séjour d une nuit seulement. Oui c est vieux mais c est très propre, cute et surtout confortable et calme! J y retournerai volontiers pour le prix aussi qui était plus abordable que d autres hôtels

That was overall a very bad experience. The room floor was sticky and dirty, the shower is full of mould. The TV did not work because the owner did not pay the cable company….
We did call the owner and his assistant called me back and all he said is that the room was clean and the TV should be working … and that was it.
I understand he always rent it to tourists because he is well located and for that reason he doesn’t care about any complaints.
I strongly advise clients not to go there.

Excellent location, a quick walk to the Frontenac. Amenities are basic. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were not looking to spend much time in the room other than at night so it met our needs!

The location is really good, very smooth check in so no issues with no reception. Lucky to get one of the parking spots on site. Room was sufficient with good shower pressure. We had some issues with TV watching fifa matches and hair dryer does not work. Other than that, had a great stay!

I booked at the last minute & probably got the “worst” room, ground floor overlooking the parking lot…BUT, it was so quiet & clean, with a comfortable bed I slept well on…that I didn’t care about any of that by the end:)

The only positive comment I can give this hotel is the location is great. Location location location. The beds are small, the rooms tight, the care and upkeep is horrible. The place needs paint and repair. Light bulbs not working in need of replacing, limited showering supplies. The bathroom was so tight, you had to side sit on the toilet. Everything creeps and creaks. Supplies left out in boxes outside in hall ways. The ac in our room was quite noisy in an unusual way. Would not recommend.
