Zedwell Piccadilly Circus

The room was dirty. Sticky red wine splatter marks on the floor and by the bed. Urine on the toilet seat and on the floor by the toilet. It was disgustingl and I will not be using this facility again. I want a refund to be fair but I’m not holding my breath

Dirty especially sheets. Even asked them to doublecheck before giving us the room. And they even said to upgrade it before hand. Upon arrival, it was the same room assigned

A great concept of accommodation and excellent location. Rooms could do with a better cleaning (floors and walls are full of dust, showers don’t look clean) and beds sheets needs attention (one mattress didn’t have cover and some of the sheets were not in a clean condition for a hotel - stained).

These budget "pod" type hotels should not exist. The room (Cocoon 2), which was just slightly larger than the bed that was in it, was extremely hard to live in. My stay was one week, but I don't think the experience would be any better for one or two nights. It's like a cage in a zoo. I get that this works for some people, but the size and lack of windows does take a toll. Having multiple staff just standing by the check in section exposes that this property is only interested in turning over the rooms as quickly as possible. Had to pay a large sum to get early check-in. I'm glad that was an option, but the price for getting in two or three hours early was absurd. If there is no other option, I may force a return to this property because the location is quite unbeatable... but it does take a toll. You're going to want to spend as little time in your room as possible.

All inside the building was spot on. It was dirty & rubbish on floor outside the main doors

The place was like a maze. The elevator would take you to “your floor” but then you would still have to go up and down flights of stairs and a 5 min walk to get to your room with heavy luggage. Rooms are also tiny. Full size beds not queens. Rain shower head with no wand/handheld attachment. The shower doesn’t have a full door so the water goes EVERYWHERE and gets all the stuff in your room dirty. The bathroom isn’t a room, it’s just a lightly frosted glass panel separating it from the room. I would not stay here again

Have come home covered in bed bug bites, terrible. Sink in bathroom wouldn’t drain. Room was rough, no chair or even a bin in the room All for £220 a night

The self check-in doesn’t works as it needed my booking number but I didn’t have it as I booked on hotels.com. Annoying.

Check in didn’t work, unable to find details I needed from my booking to do it at the self serve stations. No desk but found staff and they were helpful. The hotel sent a link to check in before arrival which I thought was good however that hadn’t worked either! The rooms are very basic but clean and modern. Just lacking in any facilities. No kettle/tea & coffee making facilities or TV. Towels provided with hand soap/shower gel and shampoo. Room was quiet and we slept really well. As was a pod, meant that the mattresses (x 3) were on a raised platform so great for us but not for those who struggle getting up from a low surface! There was the facility to leave luggage in a locked room for £15 (said this was for a small bag). Check in wasn’t until 3pm and checkout was at 10am. Would be a great bonus if could drop bags earlier without the fee. Wouldn’t have liked to stay here if wanted some down time in my room but great for a base as very central. Walking distance to many attractions and short walk to Piccadilly Circus and many attractions.

Room was in good condition, staff was welcoming but uptight. Room service was not very good as they don’t do basic maintenance it seems. Amenities were good. Sound in rooms is quite nice, very quiet.

Great location, too small for a family of 4, this hotel would be good for 1-2 stays and those ok living out of suitcase as there is no space.

The location is great, the hotel is a lot smaller than I thought & barely had any room when you for more than two suitcases lol also there’s a $15E per item if you wanna store it :( sad $45 for early check in & the pillows are hard but the place was clean I’d give it that

Our stay at Zedwell was great. I stayed with my husband and 2 teens (14 & 16) we had 2 full or queen size beds as bunk beds. That was pretty cool. The room was a bit smaller than I thought it was. Pictures make it a bit bigger. Beds, shower and bathroom were all great. My only issue that we eneded up having is realizing how much we needed a TV and window in the room. Which we knew going in but didn't realize how badly this affected us. Personally I'm claustrophobic so this was a bit of a trigger for me. Not the hotels fault but mine. Just wanted to write this review for people that are like me. If you like dark rooms to sleep and dont mind not having windows or tv, then this is perfect. The hotel did say the rooms were sound proof but not really when there was a nightclub next door and their music was super loud. Didn't mind that but if you have littles ones, that might affect them or if you're a light sleeper too. The hallways smelled like fresh paint, so you can tell they just remodeled but no windows to vent the hallways. But overall I would say this hotel is in a great location. Loved that we walked out to all the entertainment and amazing food around. The hotel also has a downstairs Cafe and hangout area that you can bring food and eat there. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room key cards are pretty cool made of wood. If none of the stuff I said affects you, you will love your stay here.
