The rooms gave us the greatest sleep as they were perfectly air conditioned and as there are no windows they are dark at night! Great positioning in central London. There is no fridge or coffee making but the cafe on site is great to grab a quick coffee or bite to eat before venturing out. We used the cafe space in the evening to bring food back too rather than eating out every night. Would use again with our two teenage daughters!

This was a perfect place to relax after the hustle and bustle of the city. We arrived a bit early and had to wait at a cafe next door with our luggage until check in time. The room was calm, quiet and provided a quiet sanctuary from the heat of London. It is a busy hotel with self check in and check out. Would definitely stay again.

This is a no frills hotel but ideal if you only need somewhere to sleep. It was clean and comfortable. The air-conditioning was very efficient. Nice rainfall style shower. The staff were helpful, if needed.

Hotellet var fint, rommet i seg selv greit. Både vasken og dusjen kunne trengt en reparasjon (gikk fortsatt an å bruke). AC fungerte veldig dårlig. Personalet var veldig hjelpsomme ved innsjekk og imøtekommende.

Be prepared to get REAL CLOSE with the people you are travelling with, as there is Zero Bathroom privacy because of a giant sliding, semi frosted, glass door that allows no secrets between you. There is also zero places to put things down with nothing in the room but beds with miniscule shelves. Staff are overly aggressive with their greeting and the absolutely useless when you need assistance. Was disallowed a refund on an unused bag fee as it was deemed non-refundable after already charged. The place is clean but overly fragranced, beds are comfy but pillows are awfully, and zero amenities in room and lobby. Will not be back. The location is great but the experience leaves a very bad taste.

The AC wasn’t working in our room and management did nothing the first night to help us. And this was in July. The next day we spoke to someone else and they said that they will call maintenance. Maintenance never came, so they moved us to another room. The manager said the first night that they couldn’t move us to another room and if we didn’t like it, to go somewhere else.

The rooms were clean, the air condition was strong and considering the London heat, this was a big plus. The location was excellent as it’s right in the middle of the west end. You can walk to most of the famous sights in London from the hotel. Nothing beats the location! The only negative thing was the size of the room and the amenities. The room was bare. It only had bunk beds, no tables, no chairs, no microwave, no hangers. The room was cleaned only once every four nights. You have to pay for early check in and for storing your luggage. It’s difficult to ask for new towels.

Found bugs in the first room. The staff was helpful and got us a new room right away. But the AC doesn’t work properly on the second room. It would stop in the middle of the nights and 2 of the 3 vents were blocked and the room can’t stay cool. We woke up in sweats every night. Reported to the staff but it was never fixed.

Værelset havde intet vindue. Intet fjernsyn. Kun en glasvæg ind til wc & bruser. Føltes som at overnatte på et badeværelse. Dårligt indeklima. Jeg kom syg hjem (lungerne) efter 4 dage på hotellet. Fællesarealerne har ikke vinduer, mørke malede vægge. Gav en dyster oplevelse. Jeg kommer ikke igen, og vil ikke anbefale hotellet til andre. Lyspunktet var flinke og hjælpsomme mennesker i lobbyen.

Be aware that everything costs extra—even luggage storage comes with an additional fee. You should also do yourself a favor and check under the mattresses. They seem to forget to clean there. We found quite a few interesting things… and some pretty disgusting ones. If you’re taller than 185 cm (about 6’1”), the beds probably won’t be long enough for you either. The only real positive is the location.

I had a very disappointing stay. My flight was delayed, so I arrived around 1:00 a.m. There was no reception for check-in, so I had to use the self check-in kiosk after a long journey. I was also dealing with a back injury. My room was on the second floor, but after taking the lift I discovered there were still stairs, so I had to carry my luggage. The room was at the end of what felt like a maze of corridors. The room had no windows or ventilation. About an hour after I fell asleep, I woke up covered in sweat because the air conditioning had stopped working. There was no phone in the room to contact anyone, so I had to walk back to reception. They moved me to another room on the fifth floor, but despite explaining my back injury, I was told to carry all my luggage myself. Again, I had to walk through long corridors to find the room. There was no drinking water available, and the vending machine wasn’t working, even though it was around 3:00 a.m. The next morning, I tried calling reception using the hotel’s listed phone number to ask about a late check-out, but nobody answered. I had to go downstairs again just to be told that check-out was at 10:00 a.m. The biggest disappointment was the lack of empathy. No apology, no assistance, and no effort to make things right.

The location of this hotel is everything. The hotel itself is nothing bad, but you get what you pay for. I can live with the fact that the rooms don’t have a TV, but I think they can arrange the rooms a bit better to fit in more storage. I lived at Zedwell three times, and each room I’ve stayed in had a lot of unutilized space such as wall hooks or even a proper towel rack. That mean that your stuff is mostly on the bed or the floor. But as a hotel made to only sleep in, I can’t really complain for that price.
