This Monte Carlo Inn is a really nice, reasonably priced hotel to stay at! Great continental breakfast, clean & comfortable rooms, great mattress, nice bathroom/shower, friendly service, good location. I have stayed many times now and will continue to do so in the future on those snow & freezing rain days re. work in the area.

The hotel is on a big property and no building around it so you can view farther no matter which room you are in. The breakfast needs to improve as my plate of egg and potatoes were not warm.

Stayed for 7 days, breakfast never changed, not to mention there were once without coffee and, a swamp of flying ants at the window corner. The hotel hardware overall is good apart from one of the two lifts still waiting for repairs. Staff training is not good, they do not have a sense of what servicing industry is all about. There was an electricity blackout for the entire last night but they have not updated guests nor one shed of apologies! In the suite, the water for shower is so weak that you doubt if the soap has been cleansed! And you have to ask for the soap to be refilled!! One thing is fair to say, it’s still a good value to stay!

This property needs some attention. The beds were comfortable. The curtains were off the hooks, stained and had holes. Walls were marked up, furniture damaged and carpet threadbare. Toilet seat loose and build up of grime under it. Room smelled musty. Build up of grime behind tv and long black hairs in bathroom sink and on bed sheets. The breakfast was lovely, however the limited staff could not keep dishes, oatmeal, coffee, milk and cream replenished. This was not all their fault as some guests took more than was necessary from the supply filling large thermoses with coffee. The orange juice was watered down significantly. The swimming pool had a scum line that needed cleaning. There was only 1 working elevator which was problematic as there were a lot of guests over the long weekend.
