Central Park Hotel

Room was ridiculously small for 2 people. We were “upgraded” at check in, having looked up the original booking our upgrade was in fact a smaller room than the one booked. Shower is terrible with little pressure and luke warm water. Other than that, the room was clean and staff were great

A wonderful stay. Clean, friendly and efficient staff. The daily English breakfast buffet was wonderful.

Everything was great. Comfortable bed, clean room, very spacious, customer service was excellent. The only reason why I’m giving 4/5 is the shower didn’t have a door which made it hard to shower without splashing water. Breakfast was worth it, good variety and tasty!

Steam build up in bathroom. Ventilation not the best. Water is probably at code but for my personal preference could be a bit hotter. Was a bit of a back and worth with the 24 hr power failure being canceled. And when we had the fire an offer of drinks while we waited would have been appreciated. If I had not asked would not have received comp late check out. Which I do appreciate. A

Good location near district and central lines, and easy access to shops and cafes. Staff was unfriendly at check-in and seemed very disorganized. The room was small but clean and I think recently renovated, but the shower doesn’t have a door so water goes everywhere (would be good to at least have a squeegee in the bathroom so it’s possible to clean). The room is definitely not soundproof, everyone walking through the hallways can be easily heard through the door, bring earplugs.

Work started before 8am directly above our room

The hotel staff made a mistake with the payment for the rooms I booked, he charged the payments to one room instead of both and we were locked out of the room and humiliated.

Shower was the size of a casket, everyday was an exercise to shower without getting hurt in the elbows, legs etc. Loud noise due to construction works from 10 am to 4 pm, no place to keep more than one Luccage

Very disappointed. When asked if I could be far away from the construction noise I was told that I wouldn’t hear it since I was on the 6th floor. Guess what. They were right outside of my window with what sounded like a jackhammer first thing every morning. When asked if I could get another room was told the hotel was fully booked. Terrible customer service for someone paying for a deluxe room!!

Major refurbishment works ongoing, room unusable during daytime hours due to noise. Local staff pleasant but unhelpful. No manager onsite to speak to but email address provided. No response to two emails to date. Room very small but as expected and acceptable. Heating in room uncontrollable. Shower cubicle ridiculously small. WiFi intermittent.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was serviced daily to a high standard. Recommend staying here out of central London as it's very close to central and district tube lines.

I stay here when in town for work. Friendly staff. Comfortable and clean rooms. I stay in the luxury basement rooms when I can as good value for money and v good WiFi. Location is great as close to 2 tube lines and only a 20 min walk to Oxford Street. Never had a bad stay.

Staff were vwry accommodating and helpful. Our forst room was an original room and room and bed were way too small for 2 people. After asking to swap rpoms staff were more then accommodating, moving us to another original room on mezzanine level. The hotel was in a great location, room was quiet and staff were great.

I stayed at Central Hotel Park from 30th November to 1st December and unfortunately had a very negative experience, mainly due to the behaviour of one of the security staff. I completely understand the hotel’s policy regarding the number of guests allowed in a room. However, when I explained that a friend would only be visiting for around 30 minutes (not staying overnight), the security guard became extremely rude and aggressive. Instead of calmly advising me or directing me to reception, he raised his voice at me in the lobby and spoke in a hostile way that was completely unprofessional. What shocked me most was that he threatened to cancel my booking with no refund simply because I asked a question. He then said he knew where I worked and would come to “disturb” me, and even referenced having a photocopy of my ID in a way that felt intimidating. As a guest, this made me feel unsafe and disrespected. Because of this, I didn’t even feel comfortable reporting other issues with my stay: • The room was extremely cold — the heater didn’t work properly. • There was loud construction noise early in the morning, making it difficult to rest. Normally I could overlook these things for a short stay, but the unprofessional behaviour from the security staff overshadowed everything. This team member is absolutely not doing the hotel any favours — he is damaging the hotel’s reputation and making guests feel uncomfortable. I hope management takes this seriously, because no guest shou
