Everything was good/great except breakfast didn’t have much variety.

Clean, refurbished room and kind, helpful staff. Breakfast was poor for a budget hotel, the lift felt unsafe, shower pressure was very low, and the room stayed cold with the thermostat not working properly.

Excellent stay. Reached before the check in time but they had a storage to store my bag which was convenient as I didn’t want to carry my luggage around the shopping centre. About 10mins walk from bullring. Clean room and great staff. Only thing I would advise is for the guests to be provided slippers in the hotel room. Other than that, everything was perfect and the room was clean too. Great staff and security was present and kind which made me feel safe. Would visit again.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Our room was a newly refurbished one on the 5th floor. Very clean and fresh looking, if a little sparse. No tea and coffee making facilities. Good shower although water pressure not great. Easy parking in on-site car park £10 for 24 hours. Good location. Didn't have breakfast. Would stay here again

Beds were very uncomfortable and the hotel was very noisy

Value for money is excellent. Room is basic. Toilet isn’t great, aesthetics not great but size and price is excellent. Staff were super friendly too.

The rooms are a dormitory style, it has an air conditioning unit. It is quiet and is modern. It was very good value. The duvet is very thin, and should be thicker. The breakfast is very basic, it consists of pastries, cereal , coffee and tea. It had no fruit or t bags. It did not have much choice.

First I want to start off by highly commending the Ibis staff for their amazing customer service throughout my stay. From check in, they greeted me and throughout my stay too. I get it’s the budget room but not having a plug next to the bed is beyond appalling. In terms of cleanliness, the sheets and towels were clean but there were broken false nails on the floor which is inexcusable really. Under the bed was so dusty it coated my suitcase wheels. My room was incredibly cold and I could literally feel the cold wind through my closed window. My AC would literally not work or turn on either. I tried the portable heater and that didn’t work either. They ignored when I put the sign outside my door to not have my room cleaned. I appreciated the refresh but my sign was still ignored. At least the shower was nice. I didn’t have the breakfast because £9 for a couple of pastries and yoghurt is ridiculous. There was a room where I could iron (not ideal but I made it work), but it was aok burnt annd nearly stained my clothes. Again I get its budget but that should not mean neglecting basic amenities.

Fantastic location for city centre and Bullring area

We'd stayed before so knew what to expect. No frills, clean bed for the night. For a place to crash it's good value.

Accommodation quality roughly in line with what you would expect for the price. Basic facilities but functional. Aircon didn't work so room was a little cooler than ideal. Room power was cut in the morning. Basic breakfast with a small range of options. Friendly staff.

The room was small but clean, the bed was alright, parking was good £10 a night, breakfast was alright. For the money we paid it was a good deal.

Small but perfectly adequate room which was clean and comfortable. A good budget choice well positioned for central Birmingham.
