The location is very convenient, close to Amsterdam Centeal Station. They provided luggage storage during our stay in Paris for several days, and we returned to this hotel. I will definitely return to IBIS Amsterdam Centeal on my next visit due to its excellent location.

The hotel is located just beside Amsterdam central station, so very convenient for travel to anywhere, including to the airport or intercity. We were provided an "upgrade" from our basic smallest room to a larger room with a wonderful view of the station and river, which was just perfect for our stay since we have 2 large suitcases which would have been challenging. Overall, a perfect end to our Europe trip.

Best spot, in the middle of city center, many famous locations nearby and within walking distance. Easy to transfer, because it's right beside the central station, MRT, and Tram. The hotel was clean and the staff very helpful. You can also easily get your F&B, gifts, souvenirs, and other items. So many shopping arcades nearby.

The hotel location is perfect. The room is clean, good, and worth the price. We took a room for 3 and it's comfortable enough. Would recommend this hotel for other travelers.

Every thing was good except the house keeping, the body wash bottle was empty, I just realized that when I went into the shower, when I asked to fill the body wash bottle it didn’t happen the next day because the house keeping staff does not understand English, I had to physically show them what to want so they understand and making the bed was horribly, I had to redo it my self.

It’s better than nothing. The room was hilariously minuscule, but that was expected. Here’s what gave me a bad vibe: This was the last of 5 hotels in a two week trip. At every other hotel, we checked in a couple hours early, and in the first four we were warmly welcomed and accommodated with a smile. (And in the case of a Westcord hotel, given a glass of prosecco.) At Ibis, the receptionist smirked in satisfaction and was delighted to say they could only give us a room with no view right now, and if we wished a room with a view as booked, then come back at 3pm. I’m sure I made her day; there wasn’t a shred of regret in her delivery. No intent of pleasing a customer at all, which I gather from other reviews is the Ibis way. We had a look at the €19.50 buffet the next morning, but it was a poor value. Grab something at the train station or airport, or a local cafe if you have more time.

The check-in was smooth and easy. Location was perfect being at the central station and in the center of Amsterdam. The room was comfortable. The staff are trying their best to accommodate. The downside is that they charged for storing your luggage. Room rate too expensive.

Really glad that we had the opportunity for an early check in. Staff were very great and helpful. Upon entering the room, at first glance it looked good but upon deeper inspection, the carpet had many stains. The bottom of the shower did not look clean either and ran out of hand soap by the end of our stay. Walls were scuffed and appeared dirty. Shower head would not stay in position and kept turning to the side of the shower. Really disappointing especially since this was not a cheap hotel. Lastly, having to take 2 elevators to reach our room is inconvenient.

The rooms and hotel is clean and updated. Note our bath room was small and no mini-fridge. The staff was friendly and polite. This hotel is a good choice if you just arrived by airplane, direct train connection from Schiphol-Airport. Take the train from the airport (easy) to central Amsterdam station, then 5 minute walk to hotel. Get started exploring Amsterdam Central by foot and canals. Breakfast is standard okay. The bar is okay for a nightcap, not so much of a hangout, however very safe and easy to get to rooms. I would stay again. Note, we were not traveling with you children. I am sure they would be fine, I did not use pools or other activities. Book Anne Frank House 6/8 weeks early for free tickets, also go to the Van Gogh Museum to complete your stay. My spouse and I explored all of Amsterdam Central from here then took Eurostar to Belgium. Note, but your Eurostar tickets early, some departure times may sell out so plan in advance. Save money on Eurostar with more notice, however last minute tickets are not bad. Safe Travels, Cheer!!

The primary plus of this hotel is its location, about 70 meters from the entrance to the Amsterdam Centraal train station. This was important to us, because our days were spent on day trips to Haarlem and The Hague via train. So it was a REALLY convenient location! And despite that central location, including proximity to stations for many of the (quite noisy!) trolleys and the "Lovers" canal tours, the rooms are incredibly well insulated from external noise! However, the INTERNAL walls are paper-thin: we could easily hear discussions and coughing in the room adjacent to ours. The bed was very comfortable, but the room around that bed was severely limited. The staff members were wonderful about facilitating check-in and helping us store our luggage before check-in time and after check-out. They spoke flawless English. We didn't avail ourselves of the restaurant or the breakfast, instead walking across the bridge to have breakfast at one of the many restaurants a short walk away, and there are more in the (quite large) train station, another benefit of the central location.
