As a large corporate hotel I didn't have high expectations but boy was I wrong. Clean, super clean with cleaning ongoing all the time. Clean and fresh decor and perfect carpets. Staff all super friendly and helpful and the food, dinner and breakfast was above good. Could easily stay here anytime

The staff was great and helpful. The location was good too not too far from the Royal Mile and the main city attractions. Overall, a good hotel for staying in Edinburgh with modest prices and good food.

We stayed one night before out flight in the early morning. Front desk staff was excellent. Our room was just "okay". I wasn't expecting (or needing) anything fancy but there were some basics that I thought could be better: wifi was in a "dead zone" in our first room so we asked for a reassignment of rooms; room and hallways were quite warm; and small details such as a broken fridge door highlighted that some upkeep was needed. Again, staff there was excellent and we enjoyed a very nice dinner at the Cast Iron restaurant. Overall, for the price of the hotel, I just expected a better room experience.

The shower was so dirty! It was filthy with hair and mildew. We had a cleaner come to clean it but she said it would take too much bleach to clean it and we would not be able to stay in the room??? The main areas were nice but the room - yucky!!!!! The front desk clerk was very kind and helpful. Check in was easy! I will never stay there again. Do better with the filth people!!!!!

Clean room, staff were excellent, breakfast lovely. Hotel was in pretty good decore. Bedroom could do wish refurbishment. Also carpet in hotel.could do with replacing. Loved the plants and artwork.of Edinburgh architecture. Pool and spa were lovely.

Very good hotel with good housekeeping. Very friendly staff and nice amenities such as the pool/sauna area incl vapor sauna. About 20 mins from the old town area, which we found all ok (car or bus easy access). The Delta hotel accepted a small pet which is a clear positive aspect in an environment of ever increasing rejection of pets. Recommended.
