Room was great, nice decor. We were greeted with a welcome drink which was appreciated. Lots of coffee and tea in the room. Great location to easily access Royal Mile out the back way. I would recommend staying here.

This property was outstanding and really centrally located. The room layout was perfect for my family (2 adults and 1 teen). The hotel was charming with a great vibe, staff very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was excellent with lots of options before heading out to explore the city. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again if ever back in the city. It's a great choice and great value.

Rooms are small with tiny bathrooms. Staff are very helpful but construction occurring on the street in front of the hotel makes more difficult walking at Access.

Room was great. Breakfast was one of the best we've had at a hotel. Location was spot on for the train but also for the royal mile. The only downside was check in. The staff were not very friendly and it was awkward to find our room. We were told to go down this way to find floor 4. There was a lift but it only went to rooms up to 432. Luckily a bar staff member told us we had to walk another 30 seconds around into the new building works area to find a second lift. There was no signs or anything to say this so i feel the reception staff should be telling people this. Overall a really good stay and would stay again.

Here’s a polished version of your review: The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but it has a perfect location close to everything and offers beautiful views. The concierge and restaurant staff during breakfast were spectacular and treated us like royalty. We truly loved our stay. My only suggestion is that the hotel should inform guests in advance that it is under construction, as some areas can be noisy during the day. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience, and we would gladly return.

Very convenient location with decently sized rooms, a very good breakfast and a remarkably comprehensive gym. Staff were excellent and helpful. Only issue is that some areas look a bit work but it seems a renovation is underway. Perhaps related to that, one of two main elevators was not in service but at least the elevator operating was large and fairly fast so no major queues.

We had to switch rooms as ours smelled of stale cigarette smoke and shower was broken. Once that was taken care of, our next room was fantastic! Great breakfast! Omelettes are amazing!

Location is excellent. 1 minute walk up some stairs and you are in the Royal Mile. Hotel was well maintained, but undergoing some construction, presumably to improve the landscaping which would be nice. One of the elevators did not work for the 3 days we were there which caused a wait a couple times. Overall, if the construction was completed and the elevator was working, it would have been very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Leondaro Royal Hotel. My partner and I were visiting Edinburgh for the very first time and we were travelling via train, the location of the hotel was perfect! Just a 5 minute walk and we were there. The lobby was stunning, we were greeted by the lovely staff at Reception and were even offered a complimentary glass of Prosecco each on arrival. The room itself, 708 specifically, was stunning. It felt really modern and clean and the view was incredible. As it was my birthday, the hotel had even arranged a card for me and a very generous chocolate bar too, which really was the cherry on the cake! We’d definitely stop here again.

Perfect location across the street from Waverly train station and near closes for easy climb to Royal Mile. Staff were warm and friendly, especially Cass at the front desk. Highly recommend signing on for breakfast! The buffet has massive choices. Beds and pillows so comfy.

We got a room on the 8th floor and the elevator got to the 7th floor. No one helped us get our bags up to the room (we had two large suitcases and two carry-on) my husband hada. Cast in mis arm and this was very very unfortunate that hotel staff did not help with this. Everytime we called for room service we got several diferent answers so they was pretty annoying. Other than that, the room was very comfortable and clean.
