Tulungagung Train Station

Tulungagung (TA) Station is a class 1 train station located in Kampungdalem, Tulungagung. Located at 85 meters above sea level, Tulungagung Station has three active lines with 1 straight line. Tulungagung is one of the cities in East Java which is known as the largest marble producing city in the world. Tulungagung is located in the southwest of Surabaya City. The northwestern part of Tulungagung Regency is a mountainous area that is part of the Wilis-Liman mountains. The central part of Tulungagung is lowland, the southern part is a series of Kidul mountains. Apart from the marble industry, Tulungagung has also developed other industries, namely the production of household utensils, batik, and convection.

Had five active line before

In the past, Tulungagung Station had five active lines with lines four and five for transporting goods. However, in 1995, the two lines were dismantled, therefore now Tulungagung Station only has three lines.

Has many supporting facilities

Around the 1970s, Tulungagung Station had complete infrastructure facilities such as weighbridges, water towers, rail rotators and locomotive depots.
