Crowne Plaza KITCHENER-WATERLOO by IHG

Staff was friendly but that’s about all we enjoyed. We choose this hotel for it’s amenities which the bowling and arcade which is from third party there wasn’t any balls to play and half of the arcade game didn’t work. Staying with kids we thought this would be perfect but mot too much. After long day driving we went to get ice off second floor and machine didn’t work. Our room bathroom was not very clean. Towels were hard. Parking is so far away from access to the hotel which doesn’t say anywhere is description lots of going inside and out and stairs to reach reception desk. I wouldn’t book again

The staff were amazing however the room had a loud vent that made it challenging to sleep due to noise.

Staff was friendly and helpful Lots of fun things for the kids to do… unfortunately the arcade barely had any games in use and the bowling lane was broken Nice pool I wouldn’t walk around the area too much as it’s a little rough, lots of homeless people doing drugs Hotel is nice and clean and they were very patient and accommodating with our group

Bowling broken and every game in the arcade. Mini putt was SAD! We drove 2 hours for a “kid hotel” and it was honestly terrible. The water in the shower was super cold! And because it was family day breakfast didn’t open at the normal time… which is ridiculous since family’s come to stay for this day…

Roof leaking , stained curtains pillows and beds , changed rooms had to have someone come pick up the dirty cutlery on the floor and wipe the dust. Only compensation buffet breakfast

Room was very cold when we went in. The heat did not work, had to replace the heater. The staff was very good and pleasant.

Nothing special, good for a quick stay. Parking is a mess and so is pulling into the hotel. There’s nothing special but if you’re going down for business or an event it’s good

The staff at reception were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the buffet breakfast was amazing and parking the car in the underground garage was reasonably priced and very convenient. Thank you to all of the staff at the Crowne Plaza in Kitchener. We would definitely stay there again!

Clean room, nice staff

Pictures of amenities were probably taken 10 years ago. Everything was run down plus there was a charge for everything! Arcade had 4 out of 12 games working. Bowling was not working. Layout to pool was a terrible ideas as you have to walk past 2 doors to the outside to get to the pool. We were freezing! Not going back to this place

Our room was comfortable and clean. The kids were excited to use the bowling alley which was unfortunately out of service. The arcade had many games, mostly outdated that were out of service or just took our money. The mini putt was fun and kept the kids entertained. The pool was great and wasn’t ever too busy. The breakfast was good and had lots of great options. Overall a good stay.

The toilet lever had to be lifted in order to have toilet stop running, fan wouldn’t turn on in room so was too warm, other guests allowed their kids to running wild throughout the 4th floor from 9-1015pm. Called front desk twice to get them to settle down. Then at 845am a guest allowed their toddler to yell “Momma” “Dadda” in the hallway until we checked out at 915. Overall wouldn’t choose to stay again unless guaranteed no sports teams staying on same floor! As a parent of a club swimmer for 10 years, the parents’ supervision of their athletes was subpar at best and the fact the hotel couldn’t quiet them down was disappointing.

Hotel is perfectly fine in every way.
