Check in was very easy with friendly staff. Was able to do early, and leave luggage in our room, so we could enjoy the rest of the day around London.
Large restaurant for breakfast meant there was plenty of space available. Loads of choice of food, although some of the cooked items were only lukewarm.
After checking out we received a call to inform us we'd left an item in the room, so very helpful staff.
Only downside was transport. Underground stations are quite a long walk.

This hotel is looking a bit dated and tired in places but that's not a criticism....I love it!........it has character and everything works......some more modern hotels in London can feel too clean and clinical so please don't change anything.....great location and great value for money.......will return.....

Hotel and room were clean. Breakfast good, with wide choice, and nice situation of breakfast room on first-floor. View from our room was the air-conditioning system, but we were only here for one night; bed comfy, pillow less so. We were here for a visit to the Royal Albert Hall, and it is a lovely easy walk along Kensington High Street for about 30 mins. Would come again for the same purpose.

I messaged the hotel prior to the day of arrival to see if we could check in earlier as we were in a hurry to get out to a concert but they never read or replied. When arrived at check in at 3 the queue was massive and we waited 30 minutes in the queue to check in.
Also at 6:45am there were radios/walkie talkies going off outside our room in the corridor which we didn’t know if it was hotel staff or police.
Room was small but fine for what we needed.

DO NOT BE CONFUSED about the HILTON label. This is a perfect example of FALSE ADVERTISING through edited pictures. The hotel has stained carpets, old decor, scratched wood everywhere, musty smells. N ok me of what you associate with HILTON. Extremely expensive for what you get.

We had tiny room facing courtyard (windows actually filmed over so there is 0 view) and on the top floor. There is some mechanical device on the roof that makes noise every 40 seconds. Bathrooms are extremely outdated. Overall rooms are clean. I will stay there again just because location is where I need to be, however I would rate the hotel as 3*

Room was dated, air con didn't work, and there was a strange noise that went on all night ( perhaps a service lift but not sure). Food in the restaurant was decent for our evening meal, we didn't have breakfast though because the vegan options were woeful.
