Use hotel for 2nd time when attending event in Hyde Park. It is good value and really well located being almost next door to Selfridge and Bond Street tube station. The Delux Room (a complimentary upgrade) was nice bonus abd the breakfast was as good as we remembered from our last visit. Year ago. Im sure we’ll be using the Mandaville again!

Lovely hotel. Just a shame the air conditioning did not work properly for the 1st two nights we were there so it was very hot in the room. We were provided with 2 small units which were helpful. Otherwise the hotel was excellent and in a great location.

This hotel is lovely providing tastefully decorated rooms with an intimate atmosphere. The staff helped us hail cabs and had a very gracious and polished attitude. But the execution of other services was disappointing. The restaurant, CONFORM, while almost empty was extremely slow and the waiter kept coming back to confirm our dinner choices. The food was good once we were served. The same was true for breakfast. It felt like the management was breaking in new staff. The room service/house keeping left much to be desired. We requested fresh tea cups for an evening cup of tea and the housekeeping staff had not even cleared the coffee cups from the morning. When we requested some clean cups, it took three requests over 45 minutes to finally get clean cups and have the dirty ones removed. This had never happened to me before and I have stayed in a lot of hotels. Conclusion: A lot of improvement needs to happen in the realm of efficiency in an otherwise pleasant and quiet hotel, especially given the price of the stay.

The staff at The Mandeville, especially the concierge and bar staff, were all very friendly, welcoming and helpful. On the night we stayed, I shared a superior twin room with my sister, and the weather was very hot. I wrongly assumed we would be checking into a lovely air conditioned room. As we opened the door, the room was like an oven. Apparently the aircon had broken down and they had put a little portable untit in the room, but it was pretty well ineffective. When we called to ask to be moved we were told the hotel was full but they would bring another unit. This did happen very quickly, and the staff member who brought it was apologetic, but even with another unit, the room was unbearable, we couldn’t even open the windows. Sadly this did ruin our stay, we barely slept and both my sister and I had terrible headaches, felt ill and couldn’t wait to leave in the morning, which was a shame as checkout wasn’t until 12pm. It seems the minibar fridge had suffered the same fate ps as the aircon as nothing in it was cold. Other than that the rooms could do with an update, and the bathroom was very small, and. The best thing about this hotel were the staff, the nicest and most helpful and courteous I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. My learning lesson is to always check that the aircon is working when we’re in the middle of a heatwave! LOL l

Small room, tiny elevators, dirty carpet in common areas, my room don’t get done despite hanging hr please tidy room sign, stent able to call me taxi as their “system was down”. All in all reasonably priced but you get what you pay for. Certainly not one of those reasonably priced hotels that surprise you on the positive side.

Frequent returning guest over many years to The Mandeville .. always made feel so welcome by every member of staff and the location and facilities are just the best. You have peace and quiet of Marylebone but just minutes away from Oxford Street at the same time. So many great options for dining near the hotel. Breakfast both the buffet and Al la Carte breakfast are really good. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in London. Rooms are spacious.

This is my fifth visit. It gets better each time. Staff are so caring and professional. Location is amazing. Close to Bond Street and oxford Street. Breakfast fabulous. Mushroom omelette exceptional. Best place to stay in London.
