Besides that, this airport consists of one terminal building, an administrative building, and a communication tower. The location of this airport is about 12.5 kilometers from Tacloban city.

According to the data climate, January is the wettest month of the year. It is not the best time to travel to Tacloban from October to February because of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms. Whereas, during the dry season, the city will experience hot and humid weather with less amount of rain.
