Formerly known as Tolotio Airport, Jalaluddin Airport is an airport in Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo, Indonesia. It is located approximately 30 kilometres in the west of Gorontalo's city center and operated by Ministry of Transportation of Indonesia Republic. The airport is named after Djalaluddin Tantu, a colonel of the Indonesian Air Force from Gorontalo, who died during the Indonesia-Malaysia Confrontation in Malaysia when his C-130 Hercules was shot down. On May 1st, 2016, this airport features a new terminal replacing the old terminal building due to increasing passengers as the years go by.


It has two aerobridges and became as one of first class Airport in Eastern Indonesia besides Sam Ratulangi International Airport and Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport. The new terminal is also completed with a huge parking area that accommodates more than 1,000 cars. Among the facilities provided by the airport are waiting room, public areas, a mosque which is located downstairs and upstairs, lactation rooms, escalator, lifts, washroom, wheelchairs for passenger illness or disability.

3. Otanaha Fortress-Otanaha Fortress is one of the popular attractions in Gorontalo province. Built-in 1522 by King Ilato from the Gorontalo Kingdom and Portuguese sailors, this fortress acts to strengthen the area security and defense. It is comprised of a mixture of sand, calcium, and eggs of Maleo birds. There are 348 steps, which separated into four stopovers which are 52 steps from the base to the first stopover, 83 steps from first to second stopover, 53 seconds to third stopover and 89 steps from third to the fourth stopover. Once you reach the top, you can see the magnificent view of Limboto Lake and some part of Gorontalo region.
