Whenever I have a layover at Heathrow terminal 5, I stay at the Sofitel. The rooms are clean, comfortable, well appointed. The staff is incredibly friendly, and you can’t beat the convenience to catch your flight the next morning.

Room was great the fold out sofa bed was a bit antique but just about ok if you’re tired. Hotel overall was excellent. Room could have had a hairdryer though

Fire alarm went off accidentally periodically after 6am. Young children were allowed to run around unchecked by parents or hotel staff in the restaurant and serve themselves from the buffet breakfast

The room was immaculate, very comfortable and had everything I needed. Staff were welcoming, professional and very helpful and accommodating when I had been feeling unwell. What a wonderful, classy place to stay.
