Beginning to show it's age in some areas such as the carpet on the bridge leading up to the hotel entrance. Otherwise exceptional hotel. The best airport hotel for guests who are accustomed to best accommodations. We have stayed at this hotel more than 10 years during our travels and never been disappointed.

Whenever Iām flying out of Heathrow T5, if I have to spend the night, I choose the Sofitel. You can walk to it without ever leaving the airport, the rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is good. And if I want to go into town for some adventure, transportation is close by.

Very convenient stay next to terminal 5 of Heathrow airport. You can even use trolley to and from terminal.
Expensive and not many choices for breakfast though. Cost nearly $90 for two and buffet select was poor.

Worst hotel I've stayed in all my travels.
Internet did not work. I had to complain twice from the moment I checked in before someone was sent to come take a look and acknowledged.
They promised to move my room after consulting with the manager.
Nothing was done until I went downstairs and asked to speak to management.
Moved me to another room at 11pm with same issues.
I complained again on day 2 and 3 and nobody did ANYTHING.
The 4th day I had to check out, we were awaken with a fire alarm at 8am. I jumped out of bed confused with some other hotel guests and nobody to give us any explanation.
Will never stay here again. Never!

The only good thing was the breakfast
There were no sockets in the room for charging
the mirror in the bathroom was broken
The lift did not work to get back to the airport and it was very hard for a mobility challenged person very disappointed

On arrival the shower was dirty with a huge ball on human hair left obviously had not been cleaned, was quite disgusting. Staff finely came to clean the bathroom but no apology

Booked a family room with two double beds, got two roll away beds plus a double. Tried to get a drink for the kids in the bar but the soda machine was broken and no alternatives were offered, disappointing so had to go somewhere else. Breakfast was fantastic and location excellent
