Sofitel London Heathrow

I love staying here when I have a flight the following day. It's very high end and comfortable and quiet and super-convenient for Terminal 5 departures. .The toiletries are Balmain. The only thing I'd comment on is the fact that there are no electric outlets by the bed, so you can't have your phone charging near your bed. Otherwise, this is perfect for a quick overnight stay.

Sofitel is perfect pre-flight stay for Heathrow Terminal 5. It is clean, well staffed and everyone is courteous and helpful.

Great stay as we prepared for international flight out of Terminal5 LHR. Itsnattached and we walked in enclosed passages from hotel to airport terminal. Awesome!restaurant was good too.

I’ve stayed here about 20+ times. Check in was not great (not bad either), the room looked clean to the usual standard, but a previous traveller had forgotten an item in the bathroom and the face mirror was full of smudges). Bar service was better than usual and the restaurant service was great.

where do I begin. first, don't bother calling the property directly. you'll get into voice tree hell that had circular logic and eventually hangs up on you. if you do get a dial tone, no one picks it up anyway, so dont' bother. convenience to the airport is what you're paying for, but dont' expect any help or directions on how to get there from the terminal - there are none. after arriving late, all I wanted was room service, when I called from my room, no one picked up - not room service, not the concierge, not the front desk - no one. I had to walk to the front desk to place an order for room service. I spoke to the night manager, and he said he woudl take care of it for me. after a comedy of errors, I finally got my $50 club sandwich with cold fries and instread of the meal being free of charge like the night manager said woudl be, I ended up paying anyway. rooms are outdated. no outlets next to the beds, AC and lights require key card to remain in the slot near the door, which at night you can't find because there are no lights to guide you. about the only thing good about this hotel is teh location and the towels. if you must stay here, do so because you have a early flight the next day and want to walk. otherwise, stay somewhere else. not worth the money and my goodness, get someone to answer the phones please! can go a long way on the customer service front

Lovely stay - really helpful

This was honestly the best hotel experience we have ever had due to the employees at this Sofitel London Heathrow Terminal 5 airport location. Their customer service was beyond expectations. There was a room ready so they allowed us to check into our room before 3pm. When we departed, they allowed us to check out at 1pm instead of 12pm. We have never stayed anywhere that has been so accommodating to a traveler's needs. We will definitely stay here again and again!!!! One more compliment to the team at this Sofitel.... we accidentally left our passports in the safe in our room... they helped us to easily retrieve it even though we had just checked out. Love this hotel and it's people that work there!!!!! Love the provided slippers too!!!!!!!

The check-in staff was terrific. He was cheerful, explained how to get to different areas, made suggestions, was efficient. Our room was clean but smelled very musty. The bed is very comfortable. Good luck figuring out the elevator buttons on where you need to go. It’s very confusing and not well marked. It’s the strangest room numbering system ever. Ex. Room 2302 is on the third floor. When reaching the 3rd floor, you pass aisles of rooms marked 4300, next aisle 3300, then 2300, then 1300 all on the same floor. Soooo odd. For a quick overnight , it’s worth it not to leave the airport.

The services the staff provided are sometimes more helpful. For example the trolley service to terminal solved my problem of traveling with 4 luggage.
