I've actually stayed at Novotel several times, but this was my first time with my family. Thank God, it was a very pleasant experience. Friendly service, spacious rooms, and well-functioning facilities. Finding food at night is also easy because it's close to Bekapai Park and several other cafes within a radius of less than 500 meters. In the morning, breakfast was delicious. Novotel's strengths are definitely its delicious breakfast and diverse menu options, from Western to Eastern to Indonesian. The only downside is the gym access, as it's currently under renovation, hehe. Hopefully, next time I come here, I'll be able to use all the facilities.

My first and very pleasant experience, the photos match the condition of the room. The room was clean, the AC was cold, the water was clean. Bottled water, tea, sugar, coffee, and creamer were always refilled every day. Towels and mats were always replaced with clean ones every day. I don't regret staying 7 nights here. The restaurant is luxurious, the food is delicious and complete, I gained weight 😂. I really like it here. The staff are friendly and polite. Spent the week in the city trying 4 hotels, including 4-star hotels. Out of these hotels, we would definitely choose to stay here again if in Balikpapan. The hotel is only 3 stars and quite old, but we were very surprised at the renovation they did to the room. It was super comfy. The size itself was more spacious than the average hotel rooms and everything went well. There was no problem with the AC, water faucets, cleanliness, etc. We only complained that the last guest had smoked in the room, and the receptionist quickly called to treat the room. Thank you for the service!
