I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Taipei! The location was super convenient — close to public transport, night markets, and lots of great food options. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with directions or recommendations. I did not take any food from the hotel as there are plenty of options near the hotel, especially M3. The staff are super friendly and courteous. I appreciate the many options for the welcome drink. The hotel is also just next to the Taipei Main Station, so connectivity is excellent.

I like the fact that the hotel is at the center that is near to many places. The surrounding area is incredible, next to the Ximen MRT, halal restaurant I.E. Beef noodle, Ximending night market, 7/11, massage places, etc. And the most important thing is my room was pretty clean and spacious enough.

The location is wonderful, a short 1 minute walk from Ximen station and right at the heart of the Ximending walking district. The room was okay, though the layout was a bit strange with the sink on an island near the entrance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked an airport transfer for our early morning flight, and the hotel packed breakfast for us to bring along, since we would miss the buffet breakfast.

I've stayed here three times and will continue to return. Easy access everywhere. Strategically located close to the MRT, train station, and bus stop, it's in a quiet area. Perfect for slow living in the middle of busy Taipei. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a problem with the television, and they quickly came to fix it. Cleanliness is excellent. I stayed here for two days and they cleaned the room every day.

The service is excellent. The staff is cheerful, speaks fluent English, and gives easy-to-understand instructions. The room is very clean and comfortable, everything can be adjusted with the iPad available in the room or via the citizenM app. The view from above to see the city and the cars running below is great. What I like most is the bathroom, the water is strong and there is a tropical rain shower that pours water from above, extremely comfortable. I don't want to go out after taking a shower :) Especially, it's close and convenient to go anywhere because it's only a few hundred meters from the MRT station. You can take the MRT, walk, or call Uber if you go further. If you use Uber, remember to check the bill carefully after arriving, if there's anything, report it to the Uber operator immediately. Many drivers see that you are a tourist, so sometimes they think that if you add more money, you won't notice. In general, this citizenM North Gate hotel is great. You should experience it! :)

It was great, the place was ok clean, the female room was very quiet, I overslept for 2 hours and the owner didn't charge me anything extra seeing that I was traveling alone. I appreciate the quality here, washing machine, dryer, microwave, ... all here and cheap, my clothes from 1 week of travel were cleaned here
