Excellent location with parking for 24 hrs - first come first served charged at £15 Air con in room sooooo noisy couldn’t have on Coffee machine ran out at breakfast time

I would definitely recommend staying here. It was our first time and proved to be a very good choice. Rooms and ensuite very good, comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good, freshly made pancakes were a bonus. Staff were all nice and friendly and helpful. Parking was safe and secure, you have to pay for parking but with cost of room still made it a good price. We would stay here again for sure.

Clean room and comfortable

Everything about the hotel, staff and our stay was excellent - all except one thing.. the Breakfast. £12 a head (paid on the day) and, quite frankly, if you're going in there in the hope of a hearty Cooked English Breakfast, forget it. It was absolutely revolting. It takes an exceptionally skilled chef to cook bacon and leave it tasting of nothing. I'm more inclined to think they actually steamed it. No fried eggs option, just that utterly repulsive packet-mix scrambled egg that has the same tasteless consistency of Readibrek. Eating a used Odour-eater from my grandmothers shoe would have had far more flavor and been less revolting - and she's been dead for 20 years. So, overall, excellent, but, my lord, someone from IBIS; for the love of god actually sit down and taste your own breakfast offering and make some changes!. If Toby Carvery can put on an all you can eat buffet breakfast for £7.99 with fired eggs, great bacon, cheesy potato etc, you certainly can too. Charging £12 for what we got is actually insulting.

Really central location .Some of the public areas of the hotel were a bit tired looking .Breakfast was not great,fruit not very fresh

Breakfast could be better. The selection was quite limited, and some items ran out quickly. While it was adequate, a wider variety and fresher options would improve the overall experience.

We being down once a year at various times.youre lifts always have one broken.plus you’re coffee is dreadful.it makes McDonald coffee almost pleasant

Unfortunately, I was affected by unclean beds and several bed bug bites, which were, and still are after a few days, really burdensome. You do not expect such an experience from any hotel at this level, but perhaps from backpackers' hostels? The kettle and stuff were not pristine, and I was discouraged from making a cup of tea after all. To me, I guess these two factors have greatly undermined the hotel's advantages, such as the central location and access to the railway station and other major landmarks in Birmingham.

Breakfast was slightly limited but more than enough to be honest, very good standard of the food, was regularly topped up and fresh, everything clean, I would actually give it 5* I thoroughly enjoyed it, our room clean and comfortable to be honest I couldn’t fault anything, staff friendly and easy check in and out I would definitely book again
