The staff were very nice. They were so helpful. Always have a good breakfast to start a day. Berjaya Hotel is located near Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon mall, you can just walk to get there. Also, it’s close to Pulau Tikus Wet Market, where you can get all local and street food. Such a good place to stay. And if you were coming to Penang to have a medical tour (just like I did), it’s a good place to stay because it is located in front of Adventist Hospital.

Tune Hotel Georgetown Penang
The location is great, you could easily get food, even durian also right beside the hotel. In front, not far away, there is a nice bakery. The highlight of the hotel is the internet, smooth and good signal, no problems at all. We got two small bottles of water every room service but no water fountain provided for refill. We only spend time in the hotel for bath and sleep so all good for us, overall positive and enjoyable service.

New lane food stalls are right outside. There's also a massage shop opposite the hotel to go to after a tired day of walking. Ample parking space. Mobile internet in the room isn't good, but there is free Wi-Fi.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. However the hotel interior, especially the hallway is quite dirty due to ongoing renovation project. Location is superb tho, just few minutes drive to hospitals and few steps away to a stunning seaviewm. You will get a free shuttle to the hospital from hotel.
