I had a wonderful stay this weekend. The Mantra Hotel at Parramatta, was very clean and well-maintained, with rooms that felt fresh and comfortable. The location is excellent—just a short walk to all the main shops and restaurants, which made everything very convenient. What really stood out was the fantastic customer service. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, a great experience and I would happily stay here again!

Great location to catch the XPT to Strathfield, quick change of train to arrive in Parramatta. Haven't been to Parramatta in 40 years. Great changes, great dining options in Parramatta Square. Great stay.

Great location, close to Parramatta train station and Westfield shopping centre. Friendly and helpful staff who let us check-in early and loaned us an umbrella on a very wet weekend. Although the building is not new, the room was clean and everything was in working order.

The room was old and dated. Unfortunately the air conditioner didn’t work so the room was extremely hot and the shower didn’t work properly. Raised this with reception but nothing improved until after asking again was given a fan on the last night.

Never going there for the price we paid the fridge freezer had mould in it and it wasn't turn on as well I asked them to clean it but didn't come to clean it moving forward I will investigate with it

Location was convenient. Decor of rooms outdated and furniture from fantastic furniture. Lamps flickering, knobs on cooktop missing, tea/coffee provided but no milk, bathroom had a funny smell

The service from staff was friendly and efficient. The room was clean and presented nicely. The Wifi was fast, and the hotel is located in a place that is easy to get to and also easy to get to where you need to be. However, some aspects of the property need work. The hallway leading to the room had carpets that looked like hangovers from the 1980s. The bathroom was a bit old, with a shower curtain over a bath. The bed was a bit too soft for my taste.

The advertising photos are not representative of the actual rooms. The most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever experienced. Curtains didn’t close properly, pillows were awful. Bed sheets were dirty. Sink did not drain, so it kept overflowing. Service is terrible, you call reception and nobody picks up. Rooms are very dirty and dusty.

Stay was decent, while hotel is dated&needs upgrade as bathroom uses shower curtain, carpet and bed were tired due to much use. Room was spacious&very functional and fully equipped with kitchen hot plates, appliances, utensils and washing machine/dryer. However Sofa bed was broken and shower curtain needed a change but all staff were great and catered beyond with all requests. Breakfast buffet was lovely and prepaid is $24 instead the $30 walk in price. The fantastic reception, dining, security, housekeeping staff and the convenient location are the winning factor making one overlook the hotel flaws. Parking was great at $20 per night with access straight to room floor. Pool and gym were decent but we had no time to use them.

My partner arrived at the hotel only to be told by the receptionist that his room had been cancelled by a third party who we never even booked through. It was 10pm and he was left there with no room, receptionist was rude as I could hear her whilst I was on the phone with him trying to help resolve the situation. I never received any emails or any other form of communication to say the room had been cancelled. It took over half an hour to sort it out, I had people from Expedia trying to call reception as that’s what the lady at reception asked us to do, she didn’t answer any of their calls. I’m really disappointed and will definitely not be booking this hotel again. I said I had proof of the booked room and she said even if I sent proof she couldn’t do anything because it was cancelled on her end. Not happy

It was so nice to arrive to a happy welcoming face. Then to go to my huge warm room with kitchenette and huge bathroom. The bed was super comfy with spare blankets in the cupboard. I could not have been happier! Thank you!!
