We enjoyed our stay at the Double Tree Hilton, Bristol City Centre. Having easily accessible on site car parking was a huge benefit for us. The room was clean, with everything we needed for our nights stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming and very helpful. A fresh warm cookie on arrival was also a lovely touch!

Excellent service, got warm chocolate cookies during check in and they are absolutely delicious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Facilities and the room are a bit old but clean and adequate. Walkable to train station but might need to take a bus to go to city centre. No grocery stores nearby at all so needed to buy supplies from the city centre. Bed was comfortable, but soundproofing is bad. We can even hear the neighbouring room talking. The rooms are air conditioned which was nice.

Comfortable stay in air-conditioned room. Plentiful breakfast. Ate in both the Kiln restaurant and the bar. Adequate choices. Food nicely cooked. Excellent staff. My only criticism is that cleaners did not follow the eco- protocols and provided clean towels daily when not necessary.

Most staff were very helpful - particularly the lady at the buffet while I was navigating the buffet with a small baby. Some younger members of staff less useful - eg one who directed me and suitcase and buggy to the exit to the car park from reception level - without mentioning there was a flight of steps down into the car park. In general not very buggy friendly - only step free access from car park required walking through the car park, down the ramp I drove up, in through the lower ground floor and then up in a very small lift (was a squeeze for me, small travel buggy & small cabin suitcase - don’t take a larger pram!). Lift also smelled very smoky. Facilities were otherwise nice, and clean, and breakfast was nice. Kettle in the room would have been good for making baby milk. Hotel

Bed Rooms were really cold and noises. Was attending a conference and even that meeting room was freezing. Heating doesn’t come on until end of October so even if you crank up the air conditioning it blows cold air. Food was beige and terrible at the conference. Everyone complaining.

Hotel in itself was nice in the communal areas however my room was not that nice. Door frame was battered like somebody had attempted to kick the door in, carpet was very worn and it smelled like a footballers changing room. Only spent one night there and wasn’t in the room much so didn’t make a deal out of it at the time…but you asked for my honest review.

Brilliant service, including a shout out to Anastasia who checked us out and the gentleman that checked us in. Very friendly and helpful. Room was really nice, clean and modern with facilities available. Breakfast was offered as an add on as well. Staff were super friendly and helpful, offering directions to the theatre and into the shopping centre. Parking was onsite and very accessible. Highly recommend!

Great location for the harbourside area of Bristol. Great room, with all the room facilities we needed. The aircon was awesome given it was the hottest weekend of the year. Just a couple of small downsides. One lift out of order the whole weekend meant that queues were frequent for the only other lift. Then a very limited availability at breakfast. No fresh breads, limited options for vegetarians with the cooked breakfasts. Surely a hotel of this standard/cost would have an omelette station? These are just minor niggles however.

Really nice hotel close the Bristol centre. Clean, spacious and lovely buffet breakfast . Will stay again. Plenty of parking but do check we the hotel if you have free parking as part of your stay as I paid the charged and found out it was free afterwards.

Great location, close to temple meads station Really friendly staff on reception, super easy check-in and they gave us cookies! Room was ideal, simple, clean and comfortable. Nice desk and window seat. Excellent shower. Breakfast was also great

Really nice hotel close the Bristol centre. Clean, spacious and lovely buffet breakfast . Will stay again. Plenty of parking but do check we the hotel if you have free parking as part of your stay as I paid the charged and found out it was free afterwards.
