Rose Court Hotel

This poor hotel is just completely neglected and run down. Very grungy and dirty at every turn. Paint, fans, plumbing, carpets, flooring, everything is just dirty and worn out or broken.

Would not recommend staying here. Although the staff are very nice, the property is poorly maintained. The outlets were few and where the TV was mounted and hot water for tea/coffee there were no reachable outlets. The furniture in general was in disrepair. The bathrooms were not well kept. Most rooms with the tubs will require a step stool for most people to get in and out of. The floors in the bathrooms were soft as well which is not a good sign. Our biggest issue was we encountered ants all over the bathroom when we returned after we initially checked in and toured the city for the day. They were going to have an exterminator look into the ant issue and offered that we look at other rooms to move to. That was when we found the condition of most rooms to be comparable. They were nice to work with us and although we booked a non-refundable stay we received 2 of our 3 night stay back to us. We had left the first day (and therefore never stayed any night there) and found other lodging.

Mycket bra läge, nära till tunnelbana, buss, Hyde Park och mycket annat.

Rummet var jätte smutsigt, fläckar på sängen och på golvet. Toaletten var ej fräsch. Personalen var jätte snälla dock! Ända positiva är hur nära hotellet ligger allt. Du har fika, restauranger, frukost, affärer i varje hörn. Samt tunnelbana.

Comparable to the Bates Motel. Run don’t walk. The only nice thing I can say is the cleaning girls, God help them, were as helpful and nice as they could be.

I hesitated to submit this review as the staff of this hotel were very kind and helpful, and I hate to come off mean. However this hotel, as others have noted, is quite run down and in need of a lot of updating and repairs. The carpet in my room was quite worn and shabby. My bedding was a mixed bag; the pillowcases seemed fresh and clean as did the comforter and top sheet. Yet oddly the bottom sheet was full of stains and quite gross looking. Since it was very hot when I was there, I got away with sleeping on top of the comforter and avoided the bottom sheet. The bathtub was extremely weird and scary for an older person. It was so high up off the ground I literally had to bend over it to climb in and out of it and hope I didn't slip and fall in the process. Once in the shower I was literally standing way up high off the bathroom floor level. There was no hand rail to hold onto except one extremely loose/wiggly one that was awkwardly placed along the top of the tub rather than on the wall where I could've had some leverage to more safely climb in and out of the tub. Again, the staff were very nice, but there were just too many things like this about the hotel that will prevent me from staying there again. Fortunately for me it was just a one night stay; I would not have been able to endure staying longer than that.

Room/bed/bathroom was clean - a little dated throughout but clean. Staff were lovely and changed our rooms to ‘better’ ones before we checked in which was great. Tea/coffee/milk in rooms but our kettle tasted of cleaning fluid. The hotel is in a great location and that’s a real positive - and let’s be honest, we’re in London and out and about all the time. We had a great 1 night stay.

Needs an urgent refurbishment

Only review I’ve left after hundreds of business hotel stays. Unfortunately I didn’t stay at the property. Picked up the key went to the room and within 2 minutes left again. The outside looks fine, location is fabulous, the guy on reception was nice enough but the condition of the property is unfortunately very run down and requires a reasonable level of time and effort to restore. It just wasn’t for me. I found another hotel.

Hotellet er i dårlig stand og veldig trangt. Ikke anbefale med rullestol. Hyggelig personale. Rom til 4 personer med enkeltsanger. Veldig billig for å ligge sentralt.

Location... excellent. Although expecting very basic q much for the cost the level of cleaniness was pretty terrible. Would like to be able to attach .

Personalet var veldig hyggelige og Beliggenheten var kjempebra ifht. Hyde park, kollektiv og avstand fra Victoria stadion mtp. flytog. Men hotellet er kjempegammelt og ser skittent ut. Det er også ganske lytt. Jeg kommer nok ikke til å komme hit igjen med mindre det blir noe oppussing!

Bra beliggenhet ellers slitt og gammelt hotell. Små rom, ingen frokost. Pluss for positiv betjening. Maks ☆☆

The hotel was not very well taken care of. It was freezing cold in our room at night and when we asked they provided a heater that barely did anything to heat up the room. The staff were very friendly but the room was dirty, the bathroom was dirty and the shower was difficult to use. The whole room needed a deep clean and some maintenance. There was a TV but it didn’t do anything. We had one pillow each that was super flat and uncomfortable. The location is great, a nice area but not a very comfortable stay.

Alt var slidt ned. Nusset og beskidt gulvtæppe, badeværelse i forfald, skævt toilet så man var ved at flade af, vindue der ikke kunne lukkes helt, møbler og senge der var nedslidte. Alt var ringe, men personalet hjælpsomt
