Ibis Styles Glasgow Central

The hotel was perfectly clean, was in a phenomenal area, super central! The staff were great and the food in the restaurant downstairs was great too! The atmosphere was exceptional

We stayed at the Ibis Styles Glasgow Central. The hotel was conveniently located with a Q-Park just across the street, offering a set price for 24-hour parking with unlimited in-and-out access. There’s also street parking available which was super handy. At the time of our visit, the city allowed free overnight parking from 18:00 to 8:00, though there’s talk that this might change in the future. The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The room key provides access only to the floor your room is on, which I personally appreciated for added security. We were assigned to a room on the 4th floor, facing the road. Although the hotel is situated just off the main road, it was surprisingly quiet, so we had a peaceful stay. A nice feature in the room was a hanging bar across the shower, perfect for drying clothes – a thoughtful touch! We stayed for two nights and opted out of the daily room cleaning service, and as a thank-you, we received a voucher for one free beverage of our choice at the lobby bar or coffee shop, which was a lovely gesture. There were two of us but I didn't want to be greedy to ask for two drinks hahaha. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend the Ibis Styles Glasgow Central for its convenience, friendly staff, and thoughtful touches.

Well positioned, clean, tidy and comfortable, with a great breakfast offering. What more could I ask for? Well...funny you should ask. The hotel has decor reflecting Scotland's musical heritage - but nowhere did I see any reference or recognition of arguably Glasgow's finest musical export of the last 40 years, the mighty Gun. Shame On You.
