This is my second stay at this hotel, and I really love it for the convenient central location close to transport links, clean rooms with all the amenities I needed, and friendly staff. I did have a slight issue with the main reception not replying my emails about changes related to the conflicts in Iran, which was a little stressful. I am not sure why the communication with them via email and also the chat service was so difficult, but it would be good to know how best to contact the hotel if this is not the best way. But the issue was resolved, and I was still really happy with my stay. I would stay there again.

Very noisy dispute being on level 15. For that reason. I would not be staying at the property again. The have no customer service skills, to busy look at their phone and talk to each other. Breakfast was good, however, it would have been cheaper for me to pay the hotel, rather then add to my booking

Great location, comfy bed and clean room. Breakfast is standard if you pre-book night before is $20. Being in the location it is would recommend ear plugs with outside noise and what I found the fridge noise. Otherwise staff are super friendly and helpful. Straight across the road from World Square for convenience to food outlets and Coles Supermarket.

This was a superior room but it was clean and tidy, but perhaps a bit small small for a Superior room, with a very small bathroom. The hotel is very conveniently located, and the staff downstairs are helpful. The buffet breakfast is very worthwhile

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, gute Anbindung zum Flughafen und Straßenbahn um die Ecke. Zum Circular Quay kann man auch laufen. Für so 2-3 Tage kann ich das Hotel empfehlen aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht, da das Housekeeping schon zu wünschen übrig lässt. Habe in den 6 Tagen nur 2x um cleaning gebeten und Bettwäsche wurde nicht gewechselt, kleine Handtücher wurden mitgenommen aber es gab keine neuen, Klopapier und Seife wurde auch nicht aufgefüllt und gesaugt auch eher nur halbherzig also wirklich sauber war es dann nicht mehr. Sehr hellhörig ist das Hotel leider auch. Positiv ist, dass das Hotel eine Waschmaschine und Trockner im Basement hat. Was man zu je 5$ nutzen kann. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr nett und behilflich bei Fragen.

I have never stayed at the Ibis before and probably won’t after this visit, the only nice thing was the staff. Rooms are outdated and although have been cleaned the wear and tear makes it less than desirable. Outlets for power were faulty and loose, with most feeling dodgy. Shower was not built on a slant so the water pools around you which explains why the seal at the bottom is blackening. There is also a gap between the shower door, it won’t fully close, leaving the floor outside to get substantially wet. The gym was lack lustre and you had to walk through the breakfast dining area to get to it, equipment is old and only 4 machines, no free weights to lift. There was also no sanitizer for the equipment, I had to ask the staff at the restaurant for sanitizer but I had to return the bottle after, defeating the purpose.

Very noisy dispute being on level 15. For that reason. I would not be staying at the property again. The have no customer service skills, to busy look at their phone and talk to each other. Breakfast was good, however, it would have been cheaper for me to pay the hotel, rather then add to my booking

Great location, comfy bed and clean room. Breakfast is standard if you pre-book night before is $20. Being in the location it is would recommend ear plugs with outside noise and what I found the fridge noise. Otherwise staff are super friendly and helpful. Straight across the road from World Square for convenience to food outlets and Coles Supermarket.

This was a superior room but it was clean and tidy, but perhaps a bit small small for a Superior room, with a very small bathroom. The hotel is very conveniently located, and the staff downstairs are helpful. The buffet breakfast is very worthwhile

Beds were way too soft, no fresh air as you couldn't open window, relavtively clean but aircon needs a good clean. Close to everything & good for a short stay.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, gute Anbindung zum Flughafen und Straßenbahn um die Ecke. Zum Circular Quay kann man auch laufen. Für so 2-3 Tage kann ich das Hotel empfehlen aber für einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht, da das Housekeeping schon zu wünschen übrig lässt. Habe in den 6 Tagen nur 2x um cleaning gebeten und Bettwäsche wurde nicht gewechselt, kleine Handtücher wurden mitgenommen aber es gab keine neuen, Klopapier und Seife wurde auch nicht aufgefüllt und gesaugt auch eher nur halbherzig also wirklich sauber war es dann nicht mehr. Sehr hellhörig ist das Hotel leider auch. Positiv ist, dass das Hotel eine Waschmaschine und Trockner im Basement hat. Was man zu je 5$ nutzen kann. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr nett und behilflich bei Fragen.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and I really love it for the convenient central location close to transport links, clean rooms with all the amenities I needed, and friendly staff. I did have a slight issue with the main reception not replying my emails about changes related to the conflicts in Iran, which was a little stressful. I am not sure why the communication with them via email and also the chat service was so difficult, but it would be good to know how best to contact the hotel if this is not the best way. But the issue was resolved, and I was still really happy with my stay. I would stay there again.

I have never stayed at the Ibis before and probably won’t after this visit, the only nice thing was the staff. Rooms are outdated and although have been cleaned the wear and tear makes it less than desirable. Outlets for power were faulty and loose, with most feeling dodgy. Shower was not built on a slant so the water pools around you which explains why the seal at the bottom is blackening. There is also a gap between the shower door, it won’t fully close, leaving the floor outside to get substantially wet. The gym was lack lustre and you had to walk through the breakfast dining area to get to it, equipment is old and only 4 machines, no free weights to lift. There was also no sanitizer for the equipment, I had to ask the staff at the restaurant for sanitizer but I had to return the bottle after, defeating the purpose.
