I love this hotel, 3rd time staying here and it does not disappoint. Perfect location next to the Castle, train station next door and many good shops near me. The staff is very welcoming and helpful and the rooms are lovely. Thanks again for the wonderful stay. See ya next time.

The hotel is fairly easy to find (directly opposite the castle) and checking in was easy. The room was clean , a nice size with a shower/bath combo. There was something going on in the function room but the noise didn't travel and I had a nice quiet room and slept really well. Some minor cosmetic issues with the room but nothing big. Good value for it's location and I would definitely stay again.

This a poorly maintained hotel.
The shower did not work properly and the shower door was broken. The lift did nit work properly. The roon was over heated because the radiator had been left on in a heat wave. There was no bottled water available. The reception did nit answer calls.

This place is a solid 3 star hotel, in a great location.
The property in rough condition, I could feel the springs in the bed, bathroom looked like an insane asylum, the continental breakfast was a bag of snacks put together from the night before… but as soon as I walked out the door, recognized why I paid to stay there.

Despite our reservation saying that breakfast was included we were told that they do not offer breakfast.
Upon check in, lthe room we were allocated hadn’t been cleaned from the day before. Due to the extremely high temperatures and the food that had been left in there it was like a pungent, sweaty sauna. We were given a second room luckily this one had been cleaned, however the windows didn’t open and the air con unit was blowing out hot air! It must have been over 40C.
The story did get better when their exhausted maintenance man arrived and opened the windows and got the air con going, he gets 5 STARS.

The room overlooked Windsor castle which was amazing. The problem was the room was an oven. The supplied cooling unit was useless and it was unbearable to be in the room, trying to sleep.was almost impossible.

You can’t beat the location of this hotel, but sadly that’s the only thing it has going for it. We stayed in a castle view “sleeps 4” room, and we did appreciate the pull-out sofa being set up as a bed for us upon arrival. Unfortunately we were there during the UK heat wave, and the plug-in AC unit we had was basically an oversized fan, definitely not AC, so our room was unbearably hot. We also had a leaking faucet in the tub, uncomfortable bed linens, only 2 towels for 4 people, and absolutely no amenities on the hotel. No ice. No plastic wear for food. No snacks to purchase. No helpful staff. A broken lift. It was so bad that we left early despite no refund. Skip this hotel!

Hotel is in a great location but needs a lot of attention. Carpets in main lounge on stairs were threadbare. No air conditioning (not unusual for an older property) but no fans in bedroom, bathroom sash window wouldnt stay open. Woodwork in bathroom badly worn and no plug in sink so difficult to wet shave. Bed was comfortable but with windows open due to heat Heathrow flight path didnt help with sleep. Hotel needs a lot of work done on it. In the meantime simple attention to details like sink plugs and bedroom fans would help

Heatwave and no air con. Fans weren’t on in the room despite emailing prior to arrival. Window had alarm and not possible to open properly. Extra fan provided that was broken. Cobwebs in room and stains on ceiling. Had to request iron. Lift didn’t work and had to carry luggage in heatwave second floor. Great location, awful dated facilities for the price. Such a shame given the great service from reception and the location.

Hotel is located in an amazing area, right across from Windsor Castle. There is shopping, pubs and restaurants as well as transportation hubs really close. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the area

Stunning location, but very basic facilities. Shower had very little to no pressure which made it difficult to shower, shower was leaking. Appreciated the fan in the room, however struggled to find the hotel being 4 star rated.

Super location and the 2nd floor room with a castle view gave us a 'grandstand' view
from the balcony of the comings and goings for (and some sounds from) the Garter Ceremony.
Pleasant and helpful staff.
The pack up breakfast was initially a bit disappointing, but the contents were comprehensive and sufficed for lunch also !
