We were generally satisfied with the hotel, but we would have liked to have a refrigerator in the room. Thank you.

Check in was fantastic! The girl was top notch!! Super busy with the amount of people coming in, but was wonderful! Offered water, cookies and breakfast!

Check in was smooth and relatively fast considering there was a large number of people checking in when we arrived. The room while tight, was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean, had plenty of towels. The shower door didn't close flush so some water leaked onto the floor. For some reason neither the soap nor shampoo dispensers were mounted to the tile like the conditioner was. So, we had to move the out of the one toiletry rack that is in the shower for our own personal items. The lamps in the room all had bright white bulbs in them that were pretty harsh. They should consider warmer tone bulbs. They hotel communicates via text if you like which is convenient. Ice machines are even floors only. We were on an odd floor. The location is convenient to the Port Authority Bus Terminal which makes it really easy to access the subway and there is a parking garage there as well that is relatively inexpensive if you book in advance. The hotel is an easy walk to most broadway theaters and there are plenty of dinning options near by. f you drive into NYC, the hotel is really close to the Lincoln Tunnel as is the Port Authority Bus Terminal Parking Garage so it makes getting in and out of the city really quick and easy. There is a nice roof top bar that has nice views. Our stay was good. The service was good. The location was good since we were primarily there to go to a broadway show. The price was good. We recommend it.

The elevators were moving very slow. The wait time for the entire weekend was 15 to 20 minutes. We took stairs on multiple occasions. The desk was shabby. The room had a lot of outlets.

Very convenient location - subway station at the end of the block; close enough to Times Square that you can go and check things out but far enough away that you’re away from the swaths of people! Great coffee shop next door! The staff were wonderful; always willing to answer questions or solve problems! We had our ac unit quit in our room and I went to the front desk to inquire about it - within half an hour it was up and running again! The only downside was how long the wait for the elevators were - not a big deal to just take the stairs except when we had all of our luggage with us. This wasn’t an all day issue but definitely around check in/out times.

If you show up 15 minutes before check in, don’t tell some one their room is clean but not ready then make then have a seat in the lobby only to get back in the end of a very long line when the room is ready.

The rooms were small and the AC was not working properly the entire stay. Thay also only made up one bed, never the other bed?

Beautiful hotel, the staff was friendly and attentive. Bed was comfy the only downside was the room was small and there was no fridge in the room.

As a loyal Hilton Honors member, I expected the Double Tree to be on par with other facilities like it I have visited. It was not. The lobby was small and always overcrowded, the elevators and rooms were tiny, and when we went to our room the first time, it was 90 degrees in the room. So I went all the way downstairs to get a new room, and the clerk said they had no more rooms and I would have to deal with it if they could not fix it - they would put a fan in there. When we got back from dinner, I asked again, and we were moved to another room that miraculously appeared. After spending almost $2000 on a room, I should not have to be treated like that.

Got to the hotel 15 minutes before check in , we were told our room was clean but not ready . By 3 pm the crowd came in which left us no choice to get back in a very long line and unable to check in for another hour. There’s git to be a better way. How about give people a number and call it in order Ike a bakery does. Hotel breakfast service has a low level of awareness. Assuming everyone is there for the buffet is not ok. We were charged for 3 meals when we only had 2. A teenager was with us but chose to eat at McDonald’s .

Everything was good
