Our room was spacious and very clean. The kitchenette was great to have and our stay was very pleasant. The only thing that is unfortunate is that parking is very tight and sometimes hard to maneuver into a spot with a larger vehicle. Our second time staying and we will be back. It would be nice if they had a discount for Alberta residents.

Friendly staff quiet and clean

Checkin was smooth and quick. Amenities were poor. Steam room was out of order. Sauna needs to be turned on and takes alot of time to get hot. After a half hour, I abandoned taking a sauna. Hot tub is covered over and hasn’t been operational for along time. Superior room kitchen is right at the entrance and the area gets wet from winter boots. Need a large mat and a way of cleaning up the water. No place to hang wet towels in the bathroom.

Lovely view and amazingly friendly staff. Second time we stay here in less than a month. Orbitz VIP indicated the possibility of room upgrade but this wasn’t offered on either stay. Maybe next time? Truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Tunnel Mountain Resort. One of the biggest highlights was how quiet and peaceful the property was—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location is also excellent, just a short drive from downtown Banff, making it easy to enjoy shops, restaurants, and attractions while still feeling tucked away from the crowds. The room itself was very spacious, with plenty of room to spread out and feel comfortable. Everything felt well laid out and ideal for a longer stay or for families. Overall, Tunnel Mountain Resort offers a great balance of comfort, convenience, and tranquility, and we would happily stay here again.

I was very satisfied with our stay. The kitchen and fireplace (with free firewood) were a must during the winter, and I’m so glad they were able to accommodate our requests. It made our stay super cozy!!! A Big thanks to front desk staff Hannah who was very polite/ always willing to help. The housekeeping team also did an excellent job keeping our room clean and restocking the bathroom essential.

We had a great stay! The cabin was cozy and the staff we really nice! Our only issue was how hot the bedroom got, despite turning down the thermostat.

We always like staying here because of the room layout. Wish the steam room worked and I feel like it’s about time the amenities could be updated.

This as a great option for an overnight stay with my daughter & son in law. They had the bedroom downstairs and we had a bed each in the loft area. I loved the fact that there was a toilet and sink upstairs which was very convenient for us in the night. We didn’t use the kitchen other than the kettle and fridge, it really was just somewhere to sleep and we found the beds very comfortable. The only comment I would make is ( nitpicking here) I wish the doormat was bigger and there was a boot tray for wet shoes. We were all trying to take boots off and keep our socks dry without stepping on the floor. Also the little shelving unit beside the door would be better as a coat closet, there was nowhere to hang up coats. Maybe some hooks there or behind the bedroom door downstairs would be a great addition. Would definitely stay again. Oooh also be prepared to hear the train in the night toot a few times…..

Poor communicator at check in. I wanted to put a fire on and read a book. One piece of firewood in the room, toilet was not flushing, dirty carpets. Worst of all there was construction above me. The sounds of which went on until 10pm, and the hammering started at 7:30 am. What was supposed to be relaxing was anything but. Thats it for me. This place gets no more chances. Zero chance I'll be back. Its a big place, there was no reason to place guests near construction.

Nice accommodation, welcoming staff. Easy transit to Main Street Banff.
