Great stay. Will be back.

We had a wonderful experience at Tunnel Mountain resort. Our first night we had an issue with our heating (it was way too hot). That evening the maintenance came right away to check it. The next day they sent another person and since they couldnt resolve it, they moved us to an upgraded room with an even better view for the inconvenience of having to move. It was totally worth it. The staff also gave us a nice anniversary gift of a s'more kit. The location was perfect. It was easily accessible to downtown, quiet, and the ROAM shuttle pickup right outside the resort. We loved having a kitchen to cook and prepare some meals as the place had all the essentials. We would absolutely stay there again.

Clean rooms! Even though we have pets one of onus has a pet dander allergy and had no issues at all! Staff were friendly and helpful! Will be returning

Amazing place. Room includes a full kitchen with large fridge, stove and even dishwasher! Living room includes a real fireplace, table for 4, couch with 2 ottomans, TV. Private balcony. Super clean. Highly recommend. Would come here again for sure.

Very clean, loved the loft for the kids and a real wood fireplace

Great secluded hotel up in the mountains close to many paths and hiking trails. Went for a few days with my dog to get some fresh air and unwind a little. We saw lots of different wildlife and enjoyed having fires and cooking in the well equipped small kitchen in our room.

Clean and quiet rooms with well-stocked kitchen!

The space was great for our family of five. The bus system was so easy to get on and off and get to where we needed to go. We went to the local ski resorts and had no problem getting there without a car. It was nice to have a kitchen and be able to make breakfast and some dinners as well. The staff was always friendly to help when needed.

The staff was amazing and the location of this property is ideal. The only issue I had was with the heating system. The room was extremely dry which made the it hard for me to breathe when I slept in the bedroom. I had to sleep in the living room, with the window slightly opened during my stay. Other than that, our stay at this hotel was enjoyable.

Overall the hotel was decent value for dollar. Free bus passes with the accommodation was great for helping you get around town without having to worry about parking. The bus schedule was easy to understand and readily available from hotel staff. Parking at the hotel is a little cramped and not well suited for larger trucks and vehicles.

Great location at the top of tunnel mountain. It was nice and quiet, and our stay included bus passes so we could take the bus into the downtown area - there is a bus stop directly outside the hotel. Pet friendly as well!

Was extremely comfortable

Room was clean and nice. Amenities were limited but we were able to use the hot tub at the neighbouring resort.

Our room was clean and staff was very friendly. There were enough parking spots while we were staying.

Room 161. We wiped down the doors, light switches, cabinet handles and other areas. The cloth was black as they were never cleaned. Sofa armrests and head rests were darkened and dirty. Room layout was very functional but felt very quickly wiped down. Smelled a bit like a hockey bag. Clean sheets and bedding. Bathroom and kitchen were clean (except the cabinet handles that were sticky). The heat comes up through the floor in the bedroom. Difficult to adjust the temperature. We kept the windows open on the deck area to keep it cool. We used the floor fans to direct the air to the bedroom. Fans had never been cleaned. We didn’t use the hot tub as it was covered up up with plywood. The steam room smelled like sewer and was dirty. We have stayed in several hotels throughout the years throughout North America during long road trips and been in all kinds of hotels, motels and resorts. This is in the bottom five on our list. This room needs to be deep cleaned and not just turned around for the next nights stay. We have only stayed in Banff one other time and it was about the same price and much better. We visited with two other couples this trip and they had similar rooms with the same issues. It has the potential to be a great place to stay, just every needs to be really deep cleaned.
